*The Koenigsegg Jesko* is the company’s latest supercar, third megacar. Unveiled at the 2019 Geneva Motor Show, the Jesko boasts a power-to-weight ratio greater than 1:1, which means its engine generates more horsepower than the car’s total curb weight in kilograms. The Jesko features the familiar twin-turbo, 5.0-liter V-8 engine found in the Regera and Agera, but Koenigsegg made big changes to the powerplant. The most important upgrade is a new crankshaft that tips the scale at only 27.5 pounds, which makes it the lightest production V-8 crankshaft in the world which produces more power with greater efficiency and moves the rev limit to upto 8,500 rpm. The new transmission has a weight of 90 kg (198 lb) and it is at least 50% shorter in length than the previous 7-speed dual-clutch unit.Being only 90kgs it can withstand power of over 1600hp on E85 fuel.
Jesko can produce over 1000kg of downforce. The wing is curved inside the body to increase surface area and it can run on part ethanol based fuel too.Koenigsegg develop a new carbon-fiber monocoque chassis for the Jesko in the company's F1-style with elongated wishbones and also features Ohlins dampers and the largest wheel bearing used in a modern car.
