#tbt to when I felt like I was on top of my fitness game, before the shoulder gave out,  before I had trouble with my diet, when I was constantly surrounded with competition and people to push me day in and day out.

This was 3 years ago and after this is when life seemed to hit with injuries, living situations, and lots of.... excuses. After I had trouble with my shoulder, my workouts soon halted which started a domino effect leading to poor diet, poor hydration, poor sleep, and higher stress levels.

Today I wanted to skip my workout because I had a large to do list. I had to tell myself this is literally my job so I have to go, and it literally turned into one of my best workouts this year so far.  I've found myself having these conversations with myself and winning nearly every time. Normally it's not too much work today but I also think me cutting out my caffeine had something to do with it, plus wanting to get more work done at home

I wanted 2019 to be better and so far so good! I'm not where I was 3 years ago but I see my mindset changing,  more workouts are getting done, hydration is becoming on point and my circle is getting close. I'm ready to kick ass this summer, but the work starts now.

Today’s #workout was mainly focused on upper #chest & #abs 😎
•
The 1st #video is me doing a warmup set of incline smith machine presses with 225lbs for 12 solid reps.  This was my 3rd #exercise in my chest routine.
•
The 2nd video is me doing a tough set of abs, which consisted of 5 pike-ups immediatey into 10 bicycles.  This counts as 1 total rep.  The #goal is to get 10 reps without stopping.  To date, Im at 7 reps.  This is by far the most challenging abs exercise routine Ive ever created for myself.  I had to speed up the video to prove I completed 7 reps.  In real time, it took me 1 minute 37 seconds.  I dare YOU to try this & see how many reps you get before failing out 💪💪😬

Im currently 192.4lbs & 6.8% bodyfat.  The goal is 190lbs at 5.5% bodyfat 😎

Haven't been posting much, but I'm still putting in the work day-in and day-out. I've put on 15 pounds since the academy trying to increase my strength and muscle mass. I plan on increasing my weight another 15 Ibs, which would put me at 235 Ibs. Consistency is key. I can't say it has been easy though being away from family and the people that shared the same desires I have to get better every day. Also, working a new job that most are not willing to do due to the sacrifices necessary. One person that has helped me along the way is my brother. We keep each other in check and are always there for each other. Be seeing you soon @snydy7.

I have heard all of these and many more pertaining to my skin and how I look without makeup. .

Many of you probably saw my story the other day but I received a bunch of loving, supportive messages and a good friend suggested I make this a post. 
I’ve struggled with acne of ALL types since early middle school. You name it, I’ve probably gone through that phase. .

I like to feel confident and secure in myself- stand tall and walk with purpose. My breakouts were my biggest insecurity.  I would be sure to slap on foundation and mascara AT THE VERY LEAST before I walked out the door or made eye contact with anyone. 
Guess what? Chances are no one cares, ESPECIALLY if you act like you are comfortable!  I’ve since seen and met beautiful women who are able to smile just as big and flaunt their skin, no matter the condition, which makes them even more gorgeous. 
Those blessed with nice skin may think this sounds silly or might not understand, but it has taken me so much time and internal coaxing to get myself to the point of being comfortable with a bare face. I still have bad days all the time. If you feel this way, you are NOT alone ❤️ I feel beautiful and confident now either way and I’m going to fully embrace that! I do love makeup, but it’s important to be able to also love my natural beauty, something I think everyone should learn to do, so I’m going to smile just as big without it! 💕 #nomakeupglow 😘✌🏼

등운동에 먼가 큰 깨달음을 얻었다..ㅋㅋ
(2년넘게 등운동을 잘못하고 있었다😭)

이번 매스업이 무사히 종료되서
내등을 벗겨내 보고싶다🤗
종잇장을 쌓듯 한장한장 차곡차곡 쌓아보자~💪🏼💪🏼

늘 그랬듯 정체기가 오려하면,
다시금 재밌어지는 이운동😤

얼마전 지나간 생일때 선물로 받은 맥그립 어제 도착✌🏼
저는 이번에 맥그립을 처음 써봤슴다~
고립감이 아주 제대로~타겟하는 등근육쪽으로 
퐉퐉~!! 꽂혀주는게 느낌 아주 좋군요~
이제 드응~신!!! 될일만 남았나요?!ㅋㅋㅋ

오늘 운동쉬는날인데 이거 사용해보려고 
휴식 강제반납,등운동 실시😤
(오늘 풀업,바벨로우 두종목만 하고 
1시간반동안 케이블+맥그립만 원없이 땡김😂)
.
✅제가 생각하는 맥그립 후기
.
장점-그립에 손이 갈고리처럼 포지션 되어서 
고립하기 싫어도 강제적으로 고립이 됨...
케이블과,랫 풀 다운,시티드 케이블 로우 머신 등등에 
중립,내회전,외회전 각각 그립별로 변형을 주어 넓은 등 구석구석 자극을 줄수 있다
(수축,절정 수축 동작시 손목이 뒤틀어지거나 변형되지 않고,
그대로 수축동작이 수행된다)
.
단점-스트랩착용 불가
(때문에 저같은경우는 메인운동으론 부적합한것 같고,메인운동후 보조운동이나 악세사리 운동으로 추가시,고립감이 탁월해서 자주 이용할것 같습니다)
.
이제 근육들이 덮혀가면서 잘 보이지도 않고 
똥글똥글~해져 가네요😭
.
하지만 키우고 키워 ,나중에 벗겨내면 작년 다이어트때보다
분명 더 나아진 근육들이 짜잔!!!..하고 나와주겠죠~ㅋ

🌞AM VS. PM🌚 .
Each have their own benefits. 
Morning: working out in the morning allows you to ‘seize’ the day. You can get your workout out of the way, allowing you to focus your energy on other accomplishments for the remainder of the day. I sometimes like to do fasted HIIT (high intensity internal training) cardio in the morning - which is great to target burning fat. If you feel that you don’t have the appropriate energy, I’d recommend having a light snack (ex. Banana) and a coffee or preworkout! Caffeine stimulates energy, focus, and thermogenesis, so you’ll be good to burn some calories 💪🏼. Note: cardio can always be followed by weights to get the metabolism going. -
Evening: great for any type of exercise. Again, caffeine will help you get the energy/motivation you need, in case you’re feeling tired by the end of the day. Note: try to avoid excessive amounts of caffeine after 5-6 pm, especially if you’re caffeine sensitive, to avoid a restless night!

Regardless of AM or PM, goal is to get a workout in. Remember to hit each muscle group at least once a week! 💪🏼 -
