Spring is my favorite time of year and it’s the best time to cleanse!
It correlates with the balance of nature and the natural rhythms that surround us.
The days are longer, warmer and new growth and regeneration is abundant.
Spring cleaning is an opportunity to clean out our bodies (and our environments) of the “junk,” allowing us to detoxify, rejuvenate, and transform to achieve a better sense of well-being, health and vitality.
Your body is capable of amazing things! It can filter out a lot of harmful substances, toxins, parasites, heavy metals and more, however in this day and age with our busy lifestyles, there is a lack of proper nutrition, movement and self care and we tend to put more garbage into our bodies than it can filter out on its own at a time.
As a result your body, as a defense mechanism will wrap the toxin in a fat cell and store it away. Overtime your system becomes sluggish, energy levels dip, brain fog, mood swings and poor digestion set in, skin problems and poor sleep become part of everyday life.
