🧐Kind of ‘off topic’ for me, but this has been on my mind since I started working from home (and spending a lot of time sitting throughout the day).

📋We all know that sitting for long periods of time isn’t great for us. Unfortunately it has now been linked to several diseases, including obesity, back pain, hypertension and depression [heart.org]

🚴🏻‍♀️Luckily, there are easy actionable ways to move more throughout the day. Here are some of them (and none of them mean heading to the gym before or after work)!

🤸🏻‍♂️Basically, just get moving. Get up and stretch every hour, intentionally take the stairs, take a walk and find fun ways to integrate physical activity into your everyday.

You see, the truth about fat loss is incredibly boring and you can’t really market that..

It’s like, eat less, strength train, eat lots of fruits and veggies, sleep enough, and be incredibly patient. Nobody wants to hear that…

BUT it’s the TRUTH!!! And I think we need to actually embrace the fact that it’s going to take a long and it’s going to be a tough thing to do. It makes you a stronger person. It makes you a stronger human being.

Many people start their day with a cup of coffee just to wake up, because they go to bed late and scroll social media on their phones or tablets in bed before sleep. No wonder they don't have enough sleep and quality of their sleep is not good either.

Stop taking supplements and energy boosters, it's just a temporary solution, it doesn't solve the problem at its root. You need to go back to basics - sleep, drink enough water, get more fresh air, exercise – those are natural doctors that give you energy. All of them should be part of a healthy long-term solution.

Decided to start my week with some Chest and Tricep work out cause your girl HATES training chest and most of the time skips it BUT NOT TODAYYYYY 💪🏽😂⁣

So guys, today it starts my second week of my 30 days to healthy living program and I’m so pumped about it. I’m feeling so good and I’ve been sleeping SO DAMN GOOOOD!!! ⁣

I have sleeping problems, I can honestly go to sleep at 4am and then wake up at 7am like it was NOTHING! Or if i go to sleep and then wake up, for whatever reason, that’s it, I can’t go to sleep anymore cause my sleep just i don’t know doesn’t want to comes back :) And this week I’ve been sleeping all night 🙌🏽 So yeah that’s an amazing progress 💓💓💓 ⁣

I also noticed that I’m NOT getting bloated anymore!!!!!! I MEAN HELLOOOOO!!! So excited to see where this 3 more weeks takes me. ⁣

You'll need:⠀⠀
2 avocados, mashed⠀⠀
8 hard boiled eggs, chopped⠀⠀
a handful of chopped dill⠀⠀
a handful of chopped parsley⠀⠀
juice of one lemon⠀⠀
a pinch of salt⠀⠀
a drizzle of olive oil (optional)⠀⠀

Mix it all together and serve it up!

Healthy sweet potato toasts by @tinashealthyworld.
Ingredients:
1 sweet potato
1/8 tsp salt
1 tsp olive oil
1 avocado
1/2 lemon
1 tomato
1 tbs hemp seeds
Steps:
1. Slice the sweet potatoes into thick slices. Bake the Sweet potatoes slices at 350 F for 25-30 minutes or until they are fully cooked
2. In a bowl, mix the avocado, lemon, and oil together until well combined. Add in the tomatoes, salt, and hemp seeds and continue to mix until well combined.
3. Add this avocado mixture on top of the baked sweet potatoes

It's my time to share finally! I started taking Tru combo in Feburary 2019. I am 5 months in but am only on my 3rd month of pills so that's showing some of my consistency issues 😂 However I have had some medical things going on and was on antibiotics for a while so I went off of Tru during that time period. Plus some other medical issues at first that I won't go into detail on right now. 
I started at 232lbs in Feburary 2019 and was miserable! I am now at 182!!!! Lots of pounds lost and tons of inches. I was in a pretty tight 18 and 3XL. Now I am a very loose 12 and large! 
I had tried other things to only lose a few pounds and plateau so I was sceptical to say the least. I watched a couple of tru groups I was recommended for months before I bought it. I finally took the plunge and am so glad I did! Within the first couple of days I was feeling so good! I was drinking more water and craving it more than ever. I was also wanting more fruits and veggies. That isn't really surprising as I already enjoyed them but just craving them wasn't the norm. I noticed I was finding reasons to stay busy moving around and being more physical. I have good and bad days of eating. Or a week I don't do as much because life gets in the way. Prior, I was probably happy life got in the way to make the excuses for me! I am going to have to go off them again for a short time maybe? Getting surgery and will be totally down for a few days but plan to start them back asap!!!

Often, it's just easier to grab something cheap and filling - i.e. a slice of pizza, cup of fries or a bagel with cream cheese. 🍟 -
The solution for me is prepping my meals. If I have a healthy prepared meal at arms reach 10/10 I won't be eating out! 🙋🏻‍♀️

Also just imagine how much food you would get from one melon for around $2 compared to the pre-cut fruit at the grocery store. 🤯
