Sometimes our purpose seems like an impossible treasure hunt. Good news? It’s not impossible. It’s there...inside of us...waiting to be uncovered. ———————————————
For some of us, it gets covered up by the expectations we put on ourselves and those we take on from others. ———————————————
The beautiful part about our purpose? It’s always there. Our purpose is innate. ———————————————
Our basic and divine purpose as human beings is to be, grow and expand. From there, we each have our own individual purpose that takes that divine right to the next level. We get to put our unique spin on it.
It isn’t always about a specific talent or knowing exactly what you’ll do from a young age. It isn’t always about finding the perfect occupation. Rather, it is always about our most basic, clear and undeniable intention behind everything we do. ——————————————— My purpose is to serve people, to help them know themselves at a deeper level, to unleash their potential, to rise above their perceived limits so they can live their fullest lives. While others may have a similar purpose, we are all unique in the way we express it in the world. That’s the magic. ——————————————— In one form or another, I have always been driven by this innate purpose even though my attention and focus have been in differently areas throughout my life.
It has shown up in the form of customer service, management, teaching, coaching, guiding, coordinating, organizing, leading, and it has show up in parenting, partnering, and friendships. The occupation has changed, but my purpose hasn’t. ———————————————
I’ve gotten lost sometimes, I’ve let false expectations of myself and from others take over, AND I’ve found my way back...to me, to my purpose, to what is most important for me in this life.
Uncovering your purpose by letting go of the old tired thoughts, feelings, beliefs and behaviors will lead to uncovering the TRUE YOU. This, my friend, is our GREATEST gift to ourselves and to the world.
