Taste ➡️ The name of this bar doesn't do it justice, paradise? Somehow Its better than that! Its a huge hit of creamy peanut butter bliss, not just one peanut butter but different wonderful ranges of peanut butter tastes. Some parts are creamy, some are light and others are strong and powerful. 
Texture ➡️ This bar has got its layer game right. The bottom are middle have a slight firmness to it, almost biscuit like in places but then the top under a soft chocolate covering is a soft gooey peanut butter. 
There are also actual peanuts hidden inside which add a great little crunch. 
Macros & Rating ➡️ Fat 13g Carbs 33g (4g Sugar) Protein 30g Calories 330 Rating: 100/10
Overall ➡️ Yes please. I love peanut butter so I take Rating peanut butter flavoured bars seriously and this was all I wanted and more. Its got lots of protein and Carbs for thr perfect taste filled workout sensation.

I know that I do better at staying on track if I know the day before what I’m going to be eating.

Saw these @Arla.uk Protein yoghurts in Asda last night and they were 4 for £3 so I figured I’d try some! Since becoming lactose intolerant I’ve found it hard to find yoghurts I like as most of them are soya and I’m not the biggest fan of the taste! 
But these are so good ☺️ so thick and creamy and #lactosefree 
I had the passion fruit and papaya today with some chopped strawberries 🍓 yum!

FOR YEARS now I’ve had a problem slimming the tummy down. I thought ab exercises would help but obviously I was an idiot and now I know you cannot TARGET one area 🤷🏼‍♀️ Over the last two months I’ve seen my tummy slowly decrease because of the overall fat loss I’ve had. I haven’t eaten specific foods to get rid of it I’ve just been in a PROPER caloric deficit. They say the majority of people who think they’re in a deficit - are probably at least 1000 calories over the goal daily intake . That is why I weigh the bulk of my foods - it’s amazing the difference a few tablespoons can make. I’m only doing this for a while until I’m able to eyeball weigh food and make good choices . I’ve also started to take creatine so I can at least carry that on once I’ve gone back to Europe ( sounds scary - it’s not ) 🤦‍♀️ Anyway, it’s time for protein oats and then I’m doing a pull workout with my trainer 💪🏽 Hope everyone has a great day !

Another couch to 5k day, day two done! Even though it's only the second day of actual jogging and tracking I feel pretty good about it. Hopefully I am able to run a 5k without stopping one day! Also got some bis and tris in. Another day down, a new day tomorrow

So, why do we weigh ourselves? It can be a great TOOL to measure progress, but shouldn’t be the ONLY tool of measurement. Tracking your weight daily means you can monitor your daily fluctuations, take your weekly average weight, or even see the trends in weight fluctuations around your period cycle. Some females can gain 3+ kgs on the scale during their period! My clients also measure the progress through photos and body measurements and also energy levels, sleep quality, stress management and mindset. ⠀

If you weigh yourself once a week, it may not be the true reflection of that weeks progress.. what if it so happens to be a higher day that day.. would you let this effect you? ⠀

“I’m in a caloric deficit but I’m not losing weight”

 If you’re in a caloric deficit, you should be losing weight. So what’s wrong? In a lot of cases, people forget to count their liquid calories.

When tracking calories, you need to take EVERYTHING into account. It’s easy to dismiss your morning pick-me-up and just say you drank a coffee. But unless you’re drinking black coffee, there are calories, and sometimes a real lot.
.
This might be an extreme example, but you can see how you can very easily offset that caloric deficit just after one “coffee”. But even if you’re just adding cream and sugar to your coffee, those are calories you need to take into account.
.
Do you need to give up coffee? Of course not. I would never tell you to do something so reckless. But I do recommend avoiding coffee that is loaded up with more fat and sugar than actual coffee. Once in a blue moon is fine, but if your daily coffee break looks like the above, you should consider making some changes.
.
Try sticking with black coffee. But if you need to add some cream, look for nonfat milk or almond milk. Focus on sugar-free syrups if you need some flavor. Instead of sugar, use stevia and/or spices like cinnamon or nutmeg. Or, follow @themacrobarista and just order his recipes exactly as you see them to take out all the guesswork!

If you can’t figure out why you’re not losing weight and you’re tracking everything you eat, make sure you take into account what you’re drinking. Yes, even if it’s just cream & sugar in your coffee, because it can add up!

This might be an extreme example, but you can see how you can very easily offset that caloric deficit just after one “coffee”. But even if you’re just adding cream and sugar to your coffee, those are calories you need to take into account.

Do you need to give up coffee? Of course not. I would never tell you to do something so reckless. But I do recommend avoiding coffee that is loaded up with more fat and sugar than actual coffee. Once in a blue moon is fine, but if your daily coffee break looks like the above, you should consider making some changes.

Try sticking with black coffee. But if you need to add some cream, look for nonfat milk or almond milk. Focus on sugar-free syrups if you need some flavor. Instead of sugar, use stevia and/or spices like cinnamon or nutmeg. Or, follow @themacrobarista and just order his recipes exactly as you see them to take out all the guesswork!

If you can’t figure out why you’re not losing weight and you’re tracking everything you eat, make sure you take into account what you’re drinking. Yes, even if it’s just cream & sugar in your coffee, because it can add up!

Chicken Banh Mi Lettuce Wraps with Sriracha mayo. Sometimes I get tacos or lettuce wraps from Home Chef and it's whatever, I'm annoyed I spent $20 on that. Not this time. I don't know what it was, maybe the spice blend, but it was really good. I'm real happy with this, especially right after the gym. 5/5.

This is new for me. Being this vulnerable.  Out in the open. But here I am... I was an athlete into college but somewhere along the way, after I stopped running and playing football, I kept the heavy eating habits and stopped working out. .

So I want to just talk about a common misconception that I hear from a lot of people......they see my coloured containers and think "those look so tiny! That's ALL you get to eat??" So........
#1 they are not actually as tiny as they look, for example my green container holds 1 cup which is 1 veggie serving. So my salad today had 2 cups of springmix (it's a ton when you pack it in!) And 1 cup of cucumbers and heirloom tomatoes, so 3 veggie servings in total!! Add some chicken(3/4 cup) and cheese and balsamic and that's a very generous sized lunch!! For reference the container is a 5 cup Rubbermaid storage container! 😲

So I want to just talk about a common misconception that I hear from a lot of people......they see my coloured containers and think "those look so tiny! That's ALL you get to eat??" So........
#1 they are not actually as tiny as they look, for example my green container holds 1 cup which is 1 veggie serving. So my salad today had 2 cups of springmix (it's a ton when you pack it in!) And 1 cup of cucumbers and heirloom tomatoes, so 3 veggie servings in total!! Add some chicken(3/4 cup) and cheese and balsamic and that's a very generous sized lunch!! For reference the container is a 5 cup Rubbermaid storage container! 😲

And now, instead of making him feel better after a grueling day at work....I'd just made him feel worse.

I have barely been able to stay active ... which is obviously a HUGE deal for me. Little man is sitting so low and I’ve had pretty severe SPD . If you don’t know what that is.. it basically feels like your pelvic bone will snap at any given moment. -

With a 2 year old and a compromised immune system we have been sick more often then not. -

My hormones have not been kind to me. A subject I will dive deeper into one day. -

Pregnancy is incredible , and truly a miracle ... but it’s so incredibly difficult. It has been kickin my ass . I can’t even tell you the last time I tracked my macros or calories, and Protein of any kind is disgusting.. -

We’re makin it through one day at a time ! If there are any struggling pregnant mamas out there , you’re not alone and probably doing it better than I am 😂!

A difficult day. Said goodbye to my boy Kuma this morning. Utterly heartbroken. He’s been in my life for the last 9.5 years. We lived in Japan together and then he came back to the UK with me. He’s been on 3 plane journeys and won Heathrow airport’s animal control centre’s accolade of grumpiest cat they’d ever seen. We buried him in the garden this evening in his favourite spot for watching the birds.
I’ve been off my food all day, but followed the plan. Yoghurt for breakfast. Chicken and sweet potato for lunch. Chicken wrap for tea. No snacks. Opened a bottle of wine for this evening. Gym session and dog walk for distraction.

Breakfast looked similar to last week - just changed up the greens and toast toppings for a little variety. LOVING my mid-morning pb strawberry yogurt bowl - probably my favorite thing to eat each day so that didn't change! This dinner was higher carb than usual but still found a way to work in a chocolate-y & sweet treat. Hey, some days it's ice cream and other days it's a protein bar. 🤷‍♀️ That's the beauty of counting macros!

What a day! In the office for over 12 hours and now finally homeward bound with a decaf cappuccino to keep me going! 🚂 
I’m so pleased that yesterday’s me was organised and did all my meal prep so I wasn’t left starving today! Once I’ve had dinner, I’ll finish at 1,484 cals and a C - 46% F - 27% P -27% macro split, which wasn’t as good as I’d hoped but would have been better if I hadn’t had a complete miss at breakfast - had prepared Proats but they tasted awful so had a treat of bircher muesli from @pretamangeruk instead! ☺️ I finally got to try one of my @tomolivernutrition protein bar today - they are so tasty! Makes a real change from some of the less nice vegan protein bars! 
B - Bircher Muesli. L - @aldiuk Cauli sausages, cauli rice and curried lentils. D - @marksandspencer Spinach & ricotta pasta. S - yogurt, 2 boiled eggs, protein bar and a soya cappuccino

How about tell people that something that's a part of their every day lives is KILLING THEM!!!! 😫💀 Read the book, "How to Lie with Statistics", then layer dramatic music over correlation based arguments... Sprinkle in some straw man fallacies, and voila 🧙‍♂️ You've got yourself a trending Netflix nutrition documentary. 🔥

Here's some things you'll always want to think about:

Correlation doesn't equal causation, here's an example... 🍦Ice cream sales are higher in the summer, crime rates are also higher in the summer - does this mean ice cream causes crime?? Nope!

Remember that logic and think critically when watching any documentary, especially nutritional ones.

Carbs are the preferred energy source of your body, and as long as you're not massively overeating them (consistently over time), you're perfectly fine.

What's wild is that when people talk about carbs causing inflammation, etc. the studies cited never are taking into consideration total caloric intake.

Not a convenient fact that supports the narrative, so obviously it's never mentioned.

Knowledge = power friends 💪

Remember that logic and think critically when watching any documentary, especially nutritional ones.

Carbs are the preferred energy source of your body, and as long as you're not massively overeating them (consistently over time), you're perfectly fine.

What's wild is that when people talk about carbs causing inflammation, etc. the studies cited never are taking into consideration total caloric intake.

Not a convenient fact that supports the narrative, so obviously it's never mentioned.
