This is one of the few posts I'll ever make where the pictures (10) will be forever more powerful than words.
In my brief time in Israel last March, I spent a full day in Palestine (Bethlehem). I ate and drank with some locals, who were all so lovely despite being so much more poorer than those on the other side of the wall. These pictures were near the entrance where the buses drop you off.
Going into Palestine was no problem, coming out, I had to go through very tight security walking through like a tunnel going into a large box size room. CCTV everywhere, bag scanners, body scanners, security officers intensely looking at me, my passport, me, my passport again, and again.
Everything else I would need to say on the topic is in the pictures.
