Every time I eat muffins I think about the time I realized that in England these are called American muffins and what I call English muffins they just call muffins. It’s been 20 years and I’m still not over it. Maybe I will start calling them Canadian muffins. 🤣
My youngest son asked for something sweet for breakfast today. This is my first time baking in almost a month. I broke the cleanse to taste them but I don’t feel great now. The sugar and gluten are not sitting well. Don’t know how to feel about that. I hate it when healthy foods teach you what you already know. Damnit! Do you eat muffins for breakfast? American (Canadian) or English?
I also wanted to point out that I have three different patterns from two different makers in this photo and I think they all go together nicely. The cake plate is Old English Garden (Royal Albert), the cup is Friendship series Cosmos (Royal Albert), and the pot is Langdale White (Royal Doulton).
