They say that time heals and mends. But for me, it’s these types of scenes that do the trick; Paddling along the edge of the forest, appreciating this beautiful tree as it leaned and bent towards the lake. A thick fog gently passing by, a dampness on my skin. These are the times I feel most alive.

We’ve all heard different versions of this quote but the perfect timing theory doesn’t sit right with me. It’s a lovely idea, waiting for a time where everything comes together seamlessly and makes sense but it sounds like a nice, tidy package. Where someone is left waiting and the other says “It’s just not the right time.”.
