For the last 28 days I have participated in an ab challenge @bodyblueprintptc 
6 out of 7 days my trainers gave extra ab exercises to focus on the different abdominal muscles. I also used @myfitnesspal to keep track of my macros. I'm super happy with my results! I lost 2 3/4inches - 1 1/4 from my lower abs, 1 1/4 from my true waist, 1/4 inch from my arms and 4mm off the caliper measurement! I'm starting to see #abdefinition for the first time ever!! More importantly than the numbers, is realizing I can change my body even in my mid-40's. Doing the exercises wasn't the hard part, it was changing my eating habits but the encouragement of my gym family and trainers was priceless! Thank you @bodyblueprintptc for helping my get started on reaching my fitness goals!

Today I covered macros with my groups that are in prep week. Tracking macros is my favorite nutrition strategy because it’s so effective and so flexible. Since it’s my fav, I’m sharing some of the highlights with you too!

Macros: What are they and why are they important?

Macros (macronutrients) are the components of food that contribute calories: proteins, carbs and fats. The foods we eat usually contain more than one macro. For example, meat has protein and fat, bread is mostly carbs but also has a small amount of protein and fat. 🥑
Our bodies respond differently based on the macros in the foods we eat, so eating enough of the right foods each day will help you decrease body fat while maintaining or increasing calorie-burning muscle. 🥩
In the FASTer Way, we pair macro tracking with intermittent fasting and carb cycling to teach our bodies to be effective fat burners. We focus on eating the right foods at the right time for the right reasons!

Tips:
Use an app like #myfitnesspal, #loseit, or #fitbit to determine your macro goals, then log your food and track your macros to hit your goals.

PLAN AHEAD! Enter your food the night before to make sure you are hitting your macro goals. Then just eat what you have entered.
🍎
Focus on quality over quantity. Try to get most of your macros from minimally processed, whole foods when possible. 🥚
If you want an occasional treat, have a treat! Just track it and adjust the rest of your food for the day to make it fit.

طريقه عمل الكورس:.
- اول يومين ليس تنحيف انما تنظيف وتنقية الجسم من السموم (الشوارد الحرة )التى هى سبب فى الامراض كالكوليسترول وتصلب الشرايين والضغط والسكر وغيرها من امراض السمنة بالاضافه الي التخلص من الماء المخزن والزائد عن حاجه الجسم. --خلال اول يومين يصل الوزن المفقود الي3كيلو من وزن الجسم .....ايضا يصيرانكماش للمعده بشكل كبييير جدا جدا
فما بتعود المعده تقبل كمية الاكل المعتاده.

ومن اليوم الثالث تبداء عملية الحرق بشكل جيد جدا بعد التخلص من الفضلات والسموم وتاهيل الجسم للحرق.

مثلا اذا عندك الة تعمل للانتاج منذ سنوات لم تقم بتنظيفها هل معدل عملها وانتاجها مثل بداية ما اشتريتها؟! اكيد لا
كذالك جسم الانسان مرت عليه سنوات عمرك بلا تنظيف لاجهزته مما يسبب مشاكل وامراض الجسم بسبب قله كفاءه اجهزه الجسم .

تنظيف الجسم من السموم المتراكمه بالجسم نتيجه تناول الوجبات السريعه دخول المبيدات التي ترش بها الخضروات والفاكهه الي اجسمنا والملوثات الموجوده بالجو ومياه الشرب والمواد الحافظة للمعلبات والتدخين وحتي السلبي منه . غسل وتنظيف الكبد والراتين والكلى والقلب .
🔹بالنسبه للتعامل مع القولون
الوفيرا الصبار تعمل على تخفيف وازالة التهابات والم المعده والامعاء والقولون (الانتفاخات والحموضه الزائده وعسر الهضم وعدم الارتياح )بشكل تام لانها بمثابة ماده شافيه بإذن الله لاى اضرار تخص المعده والقولون والامعاء بما فيهم قرحة المعده .
🔸بالنسبه للوزن المفقود هل يقوم الجسم باسترداد الوزن المفقود؟؟
فالاجابه لا يسترد الجسم الوزن المفقود مره اخرى لان المنتج يحتوي علي البروتينات التي 
تساعد على تكوين طبقة عضل رقيقه محل الشحوم المفقوده وبذالك يزداد معدل الحرق طبيعيا للدهون حتي وقت النوم.

Our meals from last night.  Delicious sea bass tacos and Brendon had enchiladas.  One of my favorite "last" meals in Texas.  Will be ghosting from IG posting for a couple days due to MOVING!!!!!! OMG. So excited!!!! Have some other amazing news to share another time.  Cannot believe moving day is here!  Life is going to be amazing here on out.

Just a little hiatus from our daily routine to unwind, enjoy some “me time” and recharge the batteries. I felt energized today, so I was a bit more enthusiastic during my workout. I headed out the door later than usual and still slushed along in the rain; walking with a little more bounce in my step but not as much as Tigger because “bouncing is what Tiggers do best”. “Well, I gotta go now. I’ve got a lotta bouncin’ to do! Hoo-hoo-hoo-hoo! T-T-F-N: ta-ta for now!” -Tigger

My exercise log🏋🏻‍♀️🏃🏻‍♂️:Today's workout was a brisk walk starting at 9:16 am on this cool drizzly Thursday morning. I maintained a good 3 mph pace for 1 hour and 46 minutes; my average pace was 16’59” per mile. I completed 105 active minutes by walking six miles through my neighborhood. I had 14 minutes in the cardio and 93 minutes in the fat burn heart rate zones. During my workout I gained 11,143 steps towards my daily total. At the end of the day, I managed to accumulate 14,881 steps and exceeded my steps per day goal. Today was a good day of my journey. I am looking forward to-day one hundred forty-four. This is slightly misleading, as I didn't *run* but rode my bike. Actually, I went on three separate rides today for a total of 12 miles. This alongside my standard daily yoga practice. This is perhaps my favorite part of losing weight... I move with so much ease now. Here's to a fit and healthy summer! ☀️

Expectation VS Reality - photoshoot edition. 
I had this idea I wanted to take super cute workout photos to have. I never thought they would look like this. 
I could have asked my photographer to edit them and make me look more like the girl on the left, but then that’s not really me is it? 
When I first got the photos, I wanted to cry. My first thought was, how could I still look like this after losing so much weight, keeping it off AND getting the skin removed? 
I decided in that moment that I wouldn’t share the photos with you all because I hated how I looked. 
Then it hit me. 99% of what you see on Instagram, in magazines or on tv IS edited. That’s not what those people really look like! 
When I go to the beach and I see women, 99% of them have imperfections. I rarely see a single “perfect” woman. 
We are made to believe we are abnormal because of what we see, but if you go out in public, you realize the “perfect bodies” are the ones that are not the majority. They are the minority. 
Our average size in the US is currently a 16, NOT a zero or a two as we are made to believe we should be. 
As much as I can pick this photo apart, the rolls, the line, the legs - there is still SO MUCH good. THAT is where I need to focus. 
I beat obesity that runs on ALL of my family genetics on both sides, I saved my life and I’m helping thousands of women do the exact same and watch them transform their entire lives because of it. Watching them GLOW and cry of happiness. That is everything 😭♥️ So, for every single woman who has made a post like this one showing their real unedited body and their perfect imperfections THANK YOU. Every single person who does is showing the rest of the world what REAL normal looks like. That we are not alone in our rolls, in our cellulite, in our stretch marks. We are HUMAN 💛

Expectation VS Reality - photoshoot edition.

Simple dinner easy on my tummy. Organic yogurt with organic granola made with coconut, flaxseed etc. Also had  unsweetened Lily's chocolate chips and tbsp of Nutella. I drank a cup of 1% milk with it. Calories were around 1,200 to end the day. It's 8 and I'm going to bed.  Tummy is still in pain. Simple answer: not every day! I honestly wish I was that organized, though... maybe some day! 🤣 I started using the “My Fitness Pal” app back in college, and it is super user-friendly in tracking meals...all the way down to the name brand of things you buy! I generally use it to track breakfast and lunch, then know where I am macro-wise heading into dinner. Sometimes I hit those macros, sometimes I come in under, sometimes over. 🤷🏼‍♀️❤️🍕

I try to make healthy decisions daily to set me up for success, but like I’ve said many times before, if I lived a very restrictive diet I would be miserable! If you eat super restrictive and enjoy it, that’s amazing! Some people simply eat to live, others live to eat. I LIVE TO EAT.🍔🍟🍕🌮🍪🍩🍦

Some of you may feel like it has to be a 180 transformation from your current lifestyle, and for some people maybe it should be...but that can lead into thinking every meal should be lettuce and water 🤣 that couldn’t be further from the truth! If you only SAW what I eat! I eat pizza, ice cream, burgers, fries... but I am also always consistent with workouts and I make other healthy choices through the week that allow me to not (always) feel guilty when eating those things. .

So to sum up all these jumbled thoughts, you can still enjoy the foods you love and live a healthy life! One easy thing you can start TOMORROW is beginning your day with a healthy breakfast. It gets you off on the right foot, and will hopefully motivate you to make fairly healthy choices throughout the day as well! 😌
