So today was a little special ....300 x F45 workouts!! (That’s workouts wearing my Lionheart monitor - so in actual fact a whole lot more actual workouts, but hey we love the trophy proof!) Most of us jump into fitness eager to start building muscle or losing weight🏋️. We expect results immediately and get disappointed if we don't see any progress🤦. In reality, it's the lack of knowledge and proper foundation for exercising that hinders our progress and efficiency of workouts.  Although we could be doing the right set of exercises, we might not be engaging the proper set of muscles resulting in poor progress.
 Before jumping into  full strength training workouts, you should consider mastering the fundamental of simple body weight exercises.  These include pullups, pushup, squats, planks, burpees and glute bridges.  When these exercises are combined, they utilize all the muscle groups and main motions required for strength training.  Once you have these simple exercises mastered, only then are you ready to start taking your training to the next level with a proper workout regimen. 👉Mastering the pullups will give you the proper muscle engagements needed to perform the back and bicep exercises. You should perfect doing 10 pullups.
👉 Mastering the pushups is mastering the motions for dips and bench press.  You should perfect at least 15 pushups.
👉 Squats are the fundamental movement for all leg exercises.  You should perfect 20 reps.
👉 Planks help you develop your core strength and work on body stabilization which are needed to master many strength training exercises. You should hold the plank for at least 60 seconds.
👉 Mastering burpees gives your muscles the endurance it needs to tackle strength training.
👉 Mastering glute bridges strengthens your core and your back. A strong back is needed for a strong body!
With these basic exercises mastered under your belt,  you will successfully move onto strength training and start achieving results.

In it, James provides “three simple things you can do right now to build better habits.”

1️⃣ Start with something so ridiculously easy you can’t say no.
2️⃣ Take the time to observe and understand your barriers. What’s holding you back?
3️⃣ Have a plan in place for when you fail.

The reality is, life is full of unpredictable circumstances. There will be always be days where you have to work late, get a flat tire, or lock yourself out of the house. These moments are an inevitable, yet unfortunate part of life.

James says, “I find the ‘never miss twice’ mindset to be particularly useful. Maybe I'll miss one workout, but I'm not going to miss two in a row. Maybe I'll eat an entire pizza, but I'll follow it up with a healthy meal. Maybe I'll forget to meditate today, but tomorrow morning I'll be oozing with Zen.

Slipping up on your habits doesn't make you a failure. It makes you normal. What separates top performers from everyone else is that they get back on track quickly. Make sure you have a plan for when you fail.”

I didn’t workout a single day when I was pregnant with Elvah🙈I kind of let myself go and ate whatever I wanted🍦🍕🍩 I gained 35lbs with her (which yes is ideal), but it was very hard on my small frame. So far I have only gained 15lbs. My Midwife keeps telling me how she loves that I’m staying active and healthy👌🏼

I didn’t have the tools then that I do now! This time around I’m sticking to a meal plan with lots of dense nutrition🥗🥑🍎🍠 I also have been following a workout routine. Den her hviledag har virkelig været tiltrængt! Med alt for få fridage et par dage med hårde og tunge træninger var et hvil lige hvad jeg trængte til! 🤗 Væske har de sidste par dage hobet sig op, så mine led har været helt stive 😄🤦🏼‍♀️ og energien har været lidt sløv i dag så JA en @faxekondi_booster var nødvendig for at holde energiniveauet bare lidt oppe i eftermiddag 😅 
Til trods for hviledag er der gået en god 5km rute i skoven + det løse (nåede 16.000 skridt ca) så cardio kommer også på banen nu 💪🏼 #fitnesslife #workout #newbody #mood #staystrong. #motivated #cardio #workworkwork #sleepy #restday #fylddepoterne #energi #rechargeyoursoul #restrestrest
