How are you feeling after the long weekend? Hopefully the words relaxed and refreshed come to mind. I definitely feel those things, but also like a car that’s had the wrong fuel pumped in (thanks hubby for the analogy)... I’m running a little rough! So for the next four weeks I’m writing myself up some meal plans to help be more thoughtful with my food and get my energy levels back up! Ostern ist vorbei und damit für die meisten auch die große Schlemmerei. 🙊 Ich war dieses Jahr ziemlich anständig und hab mich schon mit einem Cappuccino zufrieden gegeben ☕😍😁
Mein einziger Schokohase steht noch immer eingepackt im Schrank und ich lächle ihm jeden Tag freundlich zu und bitte ihn noch um ein bisschen Geduld. 🐰🍫 Ich hab ehrlich gesagt ein bisschen Angst davor ihn nach meiner Fastenzeit zu essen weil ich nicht wieder in alte Muster verfallen will. 😞 Wenn ich früher ein Stück Schokohase gegessen habe, hat mir das in der Regel nicht gereicht. Meistens hab ich den ganzen Hasen gegessen und danach gleich noch meine restlichen (zuckrigen + schokoladigen) Vorräte aufgebraucht, bis mir so richtig übel war! Von meinem Selbsthass danach muss ich euch glaub gar nicht erst erzählen... 😢😢😢
Also muss mein Schokohase dieses Jahr noch ein bisschen Geduld haben, bis entweder mein Mut oder meine Lust groß genug sind 😁🐰

I am feeling FLUFFY! I've eaten and drank a decent amount over the long weekend and haven't tracked a calorie since Wednesday as this has been an awesome Easter break for many reasons! Ready to get back to normal tomorrow after a BBQ with rosé this evening 🙌 sometimes I find it helps to remind myself how not eating properly can make me feel and it ain't pretty. At this point of the Easter holidays I’m not sure if this is baby belly or food belly 🍫🐷🤗 Hope everyone is enjoying the rest of your the Easter break.

Ate a bit too much food?

Firstly, we all did and it’s very normal. You aren’t bad, you didn’t commit a crime, you ate a bit more food than usual. It’s not biggie.

Here’s what to do now if you are feeling a bit guilty about what you consumed:

Zero self loathing or punishing yourself for what you ate. It’s Easter, there’s chocolate, it’s a social time. Do not punish yourself for not being able to eat only sad salads. You are human.

Get some healthy shopping in for tomorrow so you can easily get back into routine

Plan your breakfast, lunch and dinner for tomorrow

Get out of the habit of saying you will start next Monday. That’s just BS that instigates a whole week of unhealthy behaviour. Every meal is a new opportunity. Don’t delay the getting back into routine when you can.

Enjoy what’s left of your break. You know if you took food off the pedestal and actually started to enjoy these times for what they are, time with family etc. Instead of panicking about food. You will stress less about your food options, trust me.

Get into a healthy mindset with food and everything changes. The truth is you can choose to do this at any time. So choose it now.

I can officially fit in all of the hand me downs from my sister! 
When she gave them too me I thought I should just donate some of the clothes that were a size 14 or smaller because I've never been smaller then a size 16 since elementary school. 
Yesterday I fit in a size 10! 
Blessed to have found a product that makes weightloss/fatloss/fitness this fun! 
I'm not where I want to be yet but I'm definitely closer then I've ever been! 
Thank you to everyone that has supported me on this journey. My initial long term goal size was a size 8. While the progress is slower now each day leaves me excited to get closer and closer to reaching my goals. I never in my life dreamed to be this close this fast. 
Changing my time line from a 5 year goal to a 2.5 year goal of getting there by my 30th Birthday! Please keep sharing my journey as I can use all the motivation and support I can get in reaching this decades long goal size!

Сегодня я расскажу об основных стратегиях, которые я использую, расскажу, что может быть основной проблемой, из-за которой ваша «диета просто перестает работать».

С чего я начинаю:
- Разбор ошибок и выявление дефицита витаминов и минералов.
- Контроль потребления калорий - без высчитывания.
- Определение уровня активности.

❓Почему Ваш организм работает не так, как должен?
⠀
Возможно, причина - гормональный дисбаланс.
⠀
❗️Но чаще всего возникает дефицит нужных нутриентов - сложно получить все необходимые  витамины и минералы только из пищи.
⠀
➡️ Недостаток нутриентов - очень распространенное явление, и это не зависит от того, насколько хорошо вы питаетесь .
⠀
❗️Это может являться причиной не совсем хорошего самочувствия. Если вам не хватает ключевых питательных веществ - ваш организм не работает должным образом.

👉 Ваш уровень энергии, аппетит, сила, выносливость и настроение зависят от необходимого количества витаминов и минералов.

☑️ Вот почему: вы можете есть «чисто», быть на палео-диете, исключить мясо, снизить количество углеводов или вести учет калорий - вы можете «правильно питаться» - и при этом чувствовать себя нехорошо.

➡️ Необходимо  проанализировать рацион, найти возможное ошибки и устранить их.

This gluten free chocolate cake should keep the crew smiling today. ⁣
⁣
Being Sunday and long run day, it is my favourite day of the week and my justification for a slice of this magic. How many can I manage?⁣
⁣
Calorie counting is something I really don't care for. In fact, I detest it. ⁣
⁣
I try and encourage athletes to focus on the 19/21 rule with nutrition. ⁣
⁣
Instead of obsessing on calories, restrictive dieting and perfection, I encourage athletes to stay focussed on the end goal but to "loosen the reins a bit occasionally".⁣
⁣
Based on consuming 21 main meals in any given week, 19 of these are consciously chosen from healthy options that fuel performance. To keep things balanced, the remaining two meals are guilt-free, delicious meals you really love where your version of a treat is most definitely enjoyed. ⁣
⁣
For me that means chocolate. ⁣
⁣
But I don't go totally trashing myself as I still want to train well the following day. ⁣
⁣
Today is one of those days where a slice of cake is my post run reward. ⁣
⁣

𝐈𝐓'𝐒 𝐆𝐔𝐈𝐋𝐓 𝐅𝐑𝐄𝐄 𝐂𝐇𝐎𝐂𝐎𝐇𝐎𝐋𝐈𝐂 𝐃𝐀𝐘!⁣

This gluten free chocolate cake should keep the crew smiling today. ⁣

Being Sunday and long run day, it is my favourite day of the week and my justification for a slice of this magic. How many can I manage?⁣

Calorie counting is something I really don't care for. In fact, I detest it. ⁣

I try and encourage athletes to focus on the 19/21 rule with nutrition. ⁣

Instead of obsessing on calories, restrictive dieting and perfection, I encourage athletes to stay focussed on the end goal but to "loosen the reins a bit occasionally".⁣

Based on consuming 21 main meals in any given week, 19 of these are consciously chosen from healthy options that fuel performance. To keep things balanced, the remaining two meals are guilt-free, delicious meals you really love where your version of a treat is most definitely enjoyed. ⁣

For me that means chocolate. ⁣

But I don't go totally trashing myself as I still want to train well the following day. ⁣

Today is one of those days where a slice of cake is my post run reward. ⁣

Just got back from the mall...a place I hate. I'm like a guy:  Go in, get what I'm there for and out.  They stress me out. Don't know how people can just browse. Now I'm legitimately hungry but also need comfort food so I ground  up all the leftover shrimp and made a shrimp salad sandwich.  Just a few of these weird moon drop grapes left for tomorrow.  Had never seen them before and I love them.  I'm leaving on a trip and have managed to use up most of what's in there. Tomorrow's meals may be interesting. Lol. There was a time I would have gone to McDonald's on my way home no matter what,  but I knew I needed to use this up and while eating what I want, I'm still trying to be mindful, listen to my body, not my emotions, and keep it healthy, for the most part. I'm feeling good about my path today. I used the pinch of nom recipe from their website as a basis but made quite a few changes along the way. So in theory it's actually nothing like theirs 😂🙈
I used tinned pineapple (100g for 3 1/2 syns) 
I halfed the recipe so it was enough for 2
I didn't use any sweetener
I used only a pinch of onion powder 
I added a tablespoon of lemon juice & I simmered everything once done for a good 60 minutes for the chicken to really absorb all that lemony flavour 😍
I also added a slice of lemon as a garnish after too 👌🏻
Calling the 50g of tinned pineapple 2 syns to be on the safe side too 🙂

I used the pinch of nom recipe from their website as a basis but made quite a few changes along the way. So in theory it's actually nothing like theirs 😂🙈
I used tinned pineapple (100g for 3 1/2 syns)
I halfed the recipe so it was enough for 2
I didn't use any sweetener
I used only a pinch of onion powder
I added a tablespoon of lemon juice & I simmered everything once done for a good 60 minutes for the chicken to really absorb all that lemony flavour 😍
I also added a slice of lemon as a garnish after too 👌🏻
Calling the 50g of tinned pineapple 2 syns to be on the safe side too 🙂
