Хочу рассказать про Green Planet - Это что то вроде тропического леса 🐍🐠🐦 Огромное искусственное дерево, собственно оно и есть основа этого мини зоопарка. И дом для всех его обитателей. Огромные попугаи Ара, ленивец, различные тропические птицы. 
Причем, все они не в клетках, а в привычной среди обитания 😉 Это мы у них в гостях 👌
 Они не боятся, не улетают, они просто не обращают на вас никакого внимания 😀

Этот тропический парк сделан в 4 этажа с дорожками плавно ведущими вниз. Также есть большой аквариум с рыбами. В котором свободно плавают дайверы 👌 Это я к тому, что он действительно большой 😉

На каждом этаже есть островок с террариумом 🐍🐸🐛🐜. Лягушки, змеи и разные жуки, обитатели этих террариумов.

Это одно из тех мест, от которых вы будете реально под впечатлением. Хотите попасть в настоящие тропики - тогда вам в Green Planet 😁

Autre journée mondiale en ce 24 mars : journée mondiale pour la lutte contre la tuberculose. 
Elle a été programmée pour sensibiliser la population aux conséquences de cette maladie. 
Pourquoi le 24 mars ? Tout simplement pour rendre hommage. Hommage au Docteur Koch qui, le 24 mars 1882, a découvert la bactérie responsable de la tuberculose nommé par la suite le Bacille de Koch. Et qui a permis de place des mesures de guérison. 
C'est la maladie infectieuse la plus meutrière au monde, près de 5000 cas ont été annoncé l'année dernière, sur près de 40000 cas.
Cette pathologie a des conséquences énormes sur l'aspect nutritionnel : une perte d'appétit donc un amaigrissement pouvant conuire à une dénutrition sévère. Non prise en charge à temps, elle a des conséquences irréversibles alors que cette maladie est curable et EVITABLE ! 
Message de prévention pour tout le monde : la transmission se fait par les voies aériennes, donc par le nez. Alors, s'il vous plait, ayez le réflexe de mettre vos mains devant votre bouche lorsque vous toussez, éternuez, baillez.. Et surtout, ayez dans votre sac, un tube de gel hydroalcoolique.

L-CARNITINE IN #SPORT #NUTRITION:
Una Review pubblicata sulla rivista scientifica "Nutrients" nel 2018 ha posto attenzione su un amminoacido non proteico a corta catena: L-CARNITINA.
Il nostro organismo è in grado di sintetizzare la carnitina a partire dagli amminoacidi lisina e metionina.
Dato il suo ruolo chiave nell'ossidazione degli acidi grassi e nel metabolismo energetico, la L-carnitina è stata studiata come aiuto ergogenico per aumentare la capacità di esercizio negli atleti. 
1) Le prime ricerche hanno messo in luce i suoi effetti benefici sulle prestazioni fisiche acute, come un maggiore consumo massimo di ossigeno e una maggiore potenza. 
2) Studi successivi hanno dimostrato l'impatto positivo dell'integrazione alimentare con l-carnitina sul processo di recupero dopo l'esercizio. È dimostrato che la l-carnitina allevia le lesioni muscolari e riduce i marker di danno cellulare e la formazione di radicali liberi accompagnati dall'attenuazione del dolore muscolare. 
Inoltre, L-carnitina è in grado di migliorare il flusso sanguigno e l'apporto di ossigeno al tessuto muscolare attraverso una migliore funzione endoteliale, riducendo così le interruzioni cellulari e biochimiche indotte dall'ipossia. 
3) Studi condotti su atleti più anziani hanno inoltre dimostrato che l'assunzione di l-carnitina può portare ad un aumento della massa muscolare accompagnata da una diminuzione del peso corporeo e da una riduzione dell'affaticamento fisico e mentale. Sulla base degli attuali studi sugli animali, viene suggerito un ruolo della l-carnitina nella prevenzione della degradazione muscolare associata all'età e nella regolazione dell'omeostasi mitocondriale.

Le fonti alimentari di l-carnitina sono le carni (pecora, maiale, tacchino, pollo, pesce), i latticini e le uova.

1) Le prime ricerche hanno messo in luce i suoi effetti benefici sulle prestazioni fisiche acute, come un maggiore consumo massimo di ossigeno e una maggiore potenza.
2) Studi successivi hanno dimostrato l'impatto positivo dell'integrazione alimentare con l-carnitina sul processo di recupero dopo l'esercizio. È dimostrato che la l-carnitina allevia le lesioni muscolari e riduce i marker di danno cellulare e la formazione di radicali liberi accompagnati dall'attenuazione del dolore muscolare.
Inoltre, L-carnitina è in grado di migliorare il flusso sanguigno e l'apporto di ossigeno al tessuto muscolare attraverso una migliore funzione endoteliale, riducendo così le interruzioni cellulari e biochimiche indotte dall'ipossia.
3) Studi condotti su atleti più anziani hanno inoltre dimostrato che l'assunzione di l-carnitina può portare ad un aumento della massa muscolare accompagnata da una diminuzione del peso corporeo e da una riduzione dell'affaticamento fisico e mentale. Sulla base degli attuali studi sugli animali, viene suggerito un ruolo della l-carnitina nella prevenzione della degradazione muscolare associata all'età e nella regolazione dell'omeostasi mitocondriale.

Le fonti alimentari di l-carnitina sono le carni (pecora, maiale, tacchino, pollo, pesce), i latticini e le uova.

What I’ve been seeing a lot of lately with nutrition is that people are getting overly discouraged which leads them to quit. They set such high expectations for themselves and their families on how they need to combat junk food and lead healthier lives. It can be defeating when you head to blogs or Pinterest and see such pretty healthy dishes & snacks and sweet treat options. 
I’ll be the first to tell you, I’m not a gal that enjoys cooking or baking for hours and coming up with fun recipes. I want the simple easy stuff. The little healthy tips and tricks that take me minutes. The recipes that give my body the nutrients it needs without following an intricate recipe. That’s what I want!

I’ve always found it crucial to have a few ideas to combat sweet cravings and fruit with lite cool whip is one of them. It’s guilt-free, delicious, and something my littles love as well. Any time they see me with any sort of food they want a bite. This is something I’ll gladly give them because it at least is mostly fruit 🙌🏽

Back to work today... thank goodness it’s just two days.. On Sunday I started getting that sick feeling... that thought of having work the next day, being away from Kai; I literally fall in a heap just wanting cuddles (which is one impossible because Kai won’t stay still!) This weekend I chose not to do any exercise.  I know that sounds silly, but I’m healthy, and one weekend indulging and being with my family completely isn’t going to make any difference to my fitness (so please don’t beat yourself up if you are like me and had the weekend off). My body really needed the reset...I was feeling both emotionally and physically drained and I just wanted to be at home and play with Kai.. I don’t want to miss out on these small yet precious moments... I see everything in this world in a different way because of him 💕 
Life will never be the same... Have a wonderful Monday! 😘💕

Do you remember to take your supplements daily? It’s a simple self care task that can easily be added to your daily routine. To keep them accessible and organized, I keep mine in one of these handy supplement containers. You can find them at pharmacies! Keep the container in your purse or on the kitchen counter as a visual reminder each day. 6 cups water or veggie stock
1/2 cup chopped tomatoes or tomato sauce
1 tsp each- turmeric, cumin, and curry powder (or to your taste preference)
1 pinch clove power
1 pinch cayenne pepper
Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:
Rinse and sort lentils. Put onion and garlic in pressure cooker or insta pot with a little bit of water or stock and set to brown or sauté setting until onion is translucent. Add all other ingredients to pot and stir. Set pot on high pressure for 12 minutes (it will take about 10 minutes to pressurize before cook time will start). Once cooking time is finished allow pressure to release naturally (do not use quick pressure release). Serve with basmati rice and veggies, or whole grain Naan bread, or just eat on its own (I sometimes like to add a little hot sauce to spice things up)! Enjoy!!

I think I might forever miss coffee, but these raw cacao elixirs make it much more manageable.

Hemp milk & biodynamic raw cacao blended with @sunpotion tocos (vitamin E), @vitajingherbs reishi, @vitalproteins marine collagen, and a herbal blend of goji•rehmannia•schisandra + @lakantosweetener. Topped with sun potion pine pollen. A drink for #hormonesupport and #immunity.

Here in England viable Vitamin D production by the body happens between the months of April - September, when our skin is exposed to the sun.

This is because around this time of year the UV rays are strong enough to hit the earths surface! -
It’s such an essential vitamin, which is more like a pro hormone as it can be synthesised by the body when exposed to the sun.

It’s essential for:
- Mental health.
- Immune function.
- Bone health.
- Calcium regulation.
- Respiratory/ heart health. - regulating insulin. -
The studies say a minimum of 10 minutes outside, three times a week. The more skin on show the better! Skinny dipping? 🤷🏼‍♂️.

I can’t stress the importance of vitamin D from the sun. It is by far where we get our greatest, bioavailable amount from! -
From now until September get outside, get that vitamin D hit, with the added bonus of fresh air and greenery! -

Usualmente los domingos aprovecho y preparo mis ensaladas. De esta manera:

1• Garantizo incluirlos en mis comidas diarias.

3• Minimizo el tiempo de preparación. °

Y siempre tengo mis vegetales congelados (sin sabores añadidos, ni preservativos) así que además de frescos ya listos para comer me aseguro de tener una variedad en mi nevera y congelador. 
Prácticamente saco 20 a 30 minutos uno o dos días a la semana, preparo los vegetales para mis comidas ahorrando tiempo durante la semana.

Freezer prepping for my supply of monthly vegan nice cream 🍨🍍 I find that pineapples freeze very well, when peeled, chopped and packaged flat in a strong bag. 🍍

I enjoy eating them sometimes, straight from the freezer on a hot day. 🍍🍍🍍🍍🍍🍍🍍
