Happy Wednesday loves! These oats were the best I’ve had in a while! So good! dEATS: 3/4 cup quick oats (girl was hungry today), 1/2 cup @silk coconut milk, 2 scoops @drinkorgain vanilla protein powder, 5 grams brown sugar, a whole lot of cinnamon, and 1/2 cup water. Microwave for 3 min., stir, then 2 more minutes and top with @enjoylifefoods chocolate chips and @sunbutter (mine was mixed in). Try to let it cool because it’s even better that way!
“For where envy and selfish ambition exist, there is disorder and every kind of evil.” James 3:16 Where these things are, there is also jealousy and pride. Having envy, selfish ambition, jealousy, and pride leads to so much more; jealousy drove Saul to spending his life trying to kill David. Pride caused Samson to lose his strength and to be humiliated. Selfishness led King Ahab to kill a man to get his vineyard, leading to his downfall and his death. All of these qualities lead to so much more than what they’re worth, and if we let them in our hearts, we’ll begin to be enslaved to them just like these people here were. We can’t let jealousy and pride and selfishness take over our lives. It’s not how we’re supposed to be living as Christians, and it will eventually tear us apart. Jealousy and pride often come with comparison, and that will take root and we’ll have to deal with it for the rest of our lives if we let it flourish. So if we’re dealing with any of these things, we need to ask for help from the Lord, because only He can help us through. I pray that if you’re dealing with envy, selfishness, pride, or comparison, you will be set free from its bondage and the Lord will give you the strength to overcome; and I pray that we’ll all be careful that we don’t fall into these traps. Happy Wednesday! I hope that you have a great day!!
