“You should have let me stay in there!” Y/N yelled as they entered the home, Dylan following behind her. “You’re home!?” Harry shot up from the couch where he’d been rubbing Celeste’s feet to try to calm her down enough so she’d go to sleep. “Which She doesn’t appropriate!” Dylan raised his voice too. “My bail was set to five million dollars! I’m out because he spent five million dollars to get me out!” Y/N grew frustrated. “I’m glad you’re home,” Harry seemed to ignore her ramblings, taking her face in his hands and kissing her. For a moment she let her anger subside, kissing back until she remembered why she was pissed in the first place, pushing Harry away. “Five million,” she repeated. “You should have let her stay,” Shelly mumbled thinking she wouldn’t be heard, but both Y/N and Dylan did, which earned a “thank you” look from Y/N and a scold from Dylan. “It’s just money,” Harry assured, not understanding her objection. “It’s five million dollars! Harry that’s a lot and-“ “Y/N it’s literally chump change in this room,” Dylan cut her off. He understood where she was coming from, but they had other things to worry about that were more important than her guilt. “Listen, you just married a billionaire. Five million dollars is nothing, Y/N. He’d pay that and more.” “He’s right,” Harry nodded. She scoffed and made her way to get herself a drink, Celeste following, wrapping her arms around Y/N’s legs, getting her attention. She put her glass down, turning around and getting down to her level, her small hand caressing her cheek as gently as she could. “I’d spend all my piggy bank money to bring you back, too,” she sighed. Y/N smiled and held her niece, realizing she was overreacting and overwhelmed with the fact that she’d been to jail. “I’m sorry guys,” she mumbled as she stood up with Celeste, going back to the sofa and taking a seat with Celeste on her lap. “She won’t listen to us, but she’ll listen to a child,” Harry scoffed with a smile. “I wonder who she’s acting like,” Dylan teased, taking Y/N’s place at the bar to serve everyone a drink, giving Harry and Celeste apple juice instead of alcohol.
