1. Front subframe from a 997.2. Car came in with customer complaining of front wheel wobble intermittently. •
2. This is what the hole in the subframe should look like where the inner side of the lower control arm attaches.
3. Another shop had installed upgraded GT3 lower control arms and improperly torqued the bolt. The nut backed off and allowed things to move back and forth causing the hole to enlarge here. This would have soon led to a catastrophic failure. •
4. A new subframe was installed with a new inner GT3 lower control arm bushings. The lesson here is always make sure things are torqued to spec. •
