Here’s a little throwback to my last block of training where I wanted to improve my clean and start to build it back up again🛠.

The final video is the most recent, with 100kg for doubles, and it works back to starting again about 8 weeks ago with practicing with 40kg for the first time in months😅.
.
I think the main thing I happy with looking at this isn’t the increase in weight (which is expected as I’ve lifted these weights before) but how the technique stays consistent or even improves as the weeks go on which is something I really believe in👊🏻.
.
Don’t increase the load if it looks bad, work on it until you’re happy with it, then progress⛏🧱.

This isn’t a 12 week transformation, this is just a continuing lifestyle change.

I don’t tell her what to eat, I just give her guidelines and calories and when we’re in the gym we focus on building strong, stable foundations for movement.
.
I can’t tell you the weight difference because I haven’t weighed her once, nor am I going to.
.
However, we’ve clearly lost a ton of fat and the numbers on the bar are going up and she can comfortably squat and deadlift her body weight.

Why barefoot?

I get asked all the time why don’t you wear shoes when you train? There are several answers to that question; better then the hippie shit I hear which is “you feel the floor better”. GFP —> GFR is a start, but more importantly “the more expensive the foot wear is, the cheaper feet you have”. Give it a try the next time you train and just scrub harder when you shower, it’s really no big deal towards your hygiene. 
As you can see the differences between the 2 pause squats I’ve demonstrated. Just some food for thought.
