After spending the summer day walking around St. Kilda Beach, we decided to walk around the neighborhood to look for a good place to have dinner. We walked down the boulevard and saw this restaurant full of people. We checked out the menu and looked at what other people were eating, and we decided it would be worth a try.
I really loved the seafood risotto (especially with that splash of lemon)—it was fresh and had good consistency. (It frustrates me when risotto is dry.) The seafood pasta was great as well. I suppose that’s the benefit of eating seafood near the sea.
The pizza was delightfully cheesy and the cheese and toppings combination was the right amount of salty.
The dessert was something that made me particularly curious. Throughout the whole trip, we all got addicted to Tim Tams. We tried a variety of flavors daily and bought some more to bring home. When I saw “Tim Tam Cheesecake” on the menu, then, I just knew we had to try it. Sadly, this particular dish was better in theory. The cheesecake was a bit too sweet and a bit too dense for my liking. It‘s fine, though, because we still had Tim Tams to go back to at home. 😂 (December 2018)
