For those of you that are nervous or afraid that cupping is painful...it’s all because you’ve only seen pictures with cupping spots that are bruised. 🤷🏽♀️🤷🏽♂️
Let’s explain somethings here! ❤️
There’s no need to be afraid. Here is a picture to prove that not everyone bruises, and the more that you get cupping done the better your body responds to it in essence helping to move the healing process along faster. .
This is a client that I’ve seen for a couple of months now and over time her skin has become more and more acclimated to the cupping. .
She is still healing within the tissue and we are providing myofascial release. But here...you see no bruising. .
When you see the bruising that comes from cupping, it is not the same as a bruise that you would receive from hitting your knee on the corner of a table, you could even call it a blood stain because the suction of the cupping is pulling the blood to the surface and staining the skin temporarily. .
Will you be sore? Probably. Will you have tenderness? It is a possibility. But the act of cupping is uncomfortable but not painful!
Cupping is one of the most pain free methods that can give even better results than a deep tissue massage.
It will force your body to heal itself, where there is nothing forcing it to heal before. .
