Wir sind auf dem Heimweg aus Berlin und das Wetter sagt 🤮😭. Heute wollen wir noch kurz den gestrigen Abschlusstag aus unserer Sicht zusammenfassen: 
#workoutoftheday 
Die #glänzendedemo für ein #europadervielen war alles auf einmal: spaßig, ernst, schmerzhaft, anstrengend, motivierend, solidarisch, sonnig, windig, großartig. 
#erkenntnisdestages für die Nicht-Berlinerin unter uns: in der Hauptstadt wird tatsächlich mit anderer Motivation demonstriert und das macht ziemlich Spaß, zu beobachten. 
#HoffnungsträgerindesTages ist für uns die Staatsministerin für Kultur und Medien, die dankenswerterweise gestern ein Grußwort gesprochen hat. 
Prof. Monika Grütters bezeichnete die derzeitige Ungleichbehandlung als “kulturpolitisches Armutszeugnis”, hielt die Besprechung all unserer Themen für “wichtig und überfällig” und wünscht der #burningissueskonferenz, “dass alle Teilnehmerinnen und Teilnehmer das Feuer, das hier entfacht wurde, mit in ihre eigenen Häuser, in die Theater, auf die Bühnen nehmen als Initialzündung für Veränderungen deutschlandweit.“ Wir hingegen wünschen uns von ihr, dass der Eindruck, den sie gestern mitnehmen konnte, hängen bleibt, und auf die guten Wünsche Entscheidungen folgen, egal ob finanzieller Art oder vielleicht in eine Richtung, wie wir sie aus Schweden kennen lernen durften. (Dazu ein ander Mal mehr.) #Erinnerungen an die Uni kamen hoch, als Katharina Rost und @jennyschroedl uns ihre Analyseergebnisse zum Thema “Wie männlich ist das Theatertreffen?” spannend wie traurig wie unterhaltsam dargelegt haben. Da wurden wir der Studienzeit und der #theaterwissenschaft gegenüber fast sentimental. 
Bei der abschließenden Diskussion #practisewhatyoupreach sind wir vor allem dankbar, dass sich so vielen Fragen offen gestellt wurde und es Statistiken gab, die eindeutige Tendenzen ohne Zweifel  dargelegt haben. 
Unser #Fazit zum Abschluss: wir sind dankbar für den Input, die versammelten Kompetenzen, die großartige Planung der Veranstaltungen, die Gastfreundschaft beim Theatertreffen.

Big news! I did it!

Ik vind het super spannend om dit te delen! Normaal gesproken kan het me niks schelen, maar hierover ben ik zenuwachtig wat jullie ervan gaan vinden... Ik had momenten waarop ik twijfelde. Ik heb er lang over gedaan voordat ik het zelf goed genoeg vond. 
Maar toch bleef ik stappen zetten. Nam ik elke keer de eerst volgende actie. Verlegde ik mijn grenzen. Zocht ik hulp en advies, om daarna weer verder te kunnen gaan met het proces.

En zelfs vandaag, toen alles klaar stond... duurde het even voordat ik het durfde te communiceren. 
Tot een vriendin me erop wees dat juist ik haar nog aanspoorde om 'het gewoon te doen!' En dat klopt! Ik coach anderen maar al te vaak om juist dat te doen wat ze spannend vinden. 
Dus ga ik het nu zelf ook doen. Een soort van "practise what you preach..." Ik ga je dus vertellen dat de pre order van mijn carddeck is gestart!!! Mijn carddeck met coachkaarten, mijn meest persoonlijke en dierbare product ooit, is vanaf nú te bestellen! 
Ik ben super trots op het resultaat! Dankbaar voor alle reizen en mijn persoonlijke proces dat vooraf gegaan is, waardoor ik dit deck heb kunnen maken. Tevreden over het proces tot nu toe. En nu al diep geraakt door alle support en reacties van iedereen die me hierin steunt! 
En ik ben super excited en ook gespannen over wat er nu komen gaat! 
Als jij ook in een spannend proces zit, wil ik je zeggen: keep going! Take the next step! Follow your heart! En just do it!

Tried to take a picture of my bum to illustrate the point that improvements in running are being mildly hampered by arsing glute pain (not during the running but afterwards) - I’ve had it before, it’s really annoying. I went for an excellent / butt-bruising sports massage and it was definitely beneficial but I must, must, must take my own advice and keep up my strengthening exercises as well as stretching. Practise what you preach, Buzzy; your cheeks will thank you. ‪I thought I would share something with you to illustrate that I do ‘practise what I preach!’ Small Changes ➕ Consistency ➕ Sustainability ➡️ RESULTS‬

‪The picture is of @barrysbootcampuk studio aka ‘The Red Room’ where I have set myself my own goal over the last 16 weeks involving the treadmill. I have ALWAYS told myself I am NOT a runner and used to tell myself that I couldn’t run. When I was younger I would run for a bit and then get a stitch, so obviously not a runner. Anyone can run so these thoughts are silly despite my earlier experiences.‬
‪.‬
‪At Barry’s I’ve always run at the beginner level, last year I managed 11mph sprint speed so I then tried to go half way to the intermediate level. I could do bits of the class but then it was too hard, I couldn’t maintain it. Then I had a few weeks off the treadmill and I was back to square one.‬
‪.‬
‪At the end of January I was working on getting ‘running fit’ again and during the class the trainer said something that made me think: ‘Just increase your speed even if it’s by 0.01 or 0.02’ – light bulb moment!💡I suddenly thought that is totally achievable… I am human and NOT perfect so I don’t always have my ‘coaching hat’ on, especially for myself. This is exactly the kind of thing I would say to a client: ‘Have you ever thought about trying to make a small change by doing X?’ OBVIOUS hey…‬
‪.‬
‪So my new mission was set – every 2 weeks I would increase my speed by 0.01 (tiny) hence the time it has taken me to reach this goal but equally it has meant these increases have been manageable. I am NOT going to lie of course I have quit during the session, had to pull back gasping for breath but I have tried again in the session. This certainly hasn’t been a comfortable journey for me. One day I realised I was almost there only 0.02 away, soo close. It was a funny sensation as last year I thought I would never get there and now this goal was within reach.‬
‪.‬
‪It was great to run at intermediate level as I no longer had to do maths whilst trying to run – neither being my forte!! I finally got there!!! 🎉‬

‪This is MY real life scenario to show you – ‘YES YOU CAN’!!

My spare room is currently my rehab room as I nurse my back and pelvis back to health. An old SI joint problem has raised its head again a few weeks ago which is causing me a lot of discomfort. My body is my work tool and therefore it’s important to me spending time on myself right now. Yes it’s easy just pushing through it when you’re self employed however it would totally go against what I preach to everyone else. So I’m listening to my body and nurturing it.
I’m grateful for receiving other treatments to help me as well as for your understanding. 💗

My spare room is currently my rehab room as I nurse my back and pelvis back to health. An old SI joint problem has raised its head again a few weeks ago which is causing me a lot of discomfort. My body is my work tool and therefore it’s important to me spending time on myself right now. Back to the drawing board with the very best @andrehoudet : I am currently dissecting and rebuilding all of my lifts with Dre’s help. Quality over Quantity. Light loads but rep after rep. Couldn’t have a better teacher than him! An absolute legend and sucker for form in his field - just like me in mine.

Delighted with 3:11:11 for the Belfast Marathon (adjusted splits 97:43 & 93:28) after 3 marathon attempts dying over the closing miles. Practise what you preach! I had Russian volume extensions for two years straight and literally didn’t think I’d see the day that I stopped having them done. BUT I went travelling for 6 months and had to give them up (not really part of campervan life!). Then I was introduced to LVL and I am hooked. I’ll never go back to extensions again. I love the results on my lashes but I love seeing the results on my clients more 😍
