We asked @shakthiharinv
Q1. What inspired you to become a Graphic Designer?
Ans. I've been drawing and painting since childhood. And I love technology. When I came across softwares like Illustrator and Photoshop, I couldn't get my hands off the computer.
Q2. Who or what has been the biggest single influence on your approach to designing?
Ans. I love adding textures to my illustrations. I believe that they add life to the artwork. I find everything around me lively and interesting which inspires and influences me to create designs that people can easily connect with.
Q3. How would you describe your approach to design?
Ans. I go the classic way. Draft my sketches first and then digitalize them.
Q4. What is your strongest skill and how have you honed it over the years?
Ans. I am good at sketching the concepts in my mind and then digitalize them without losing that touch. I feel that this is my strength since I have seen a few fellow designers struggle digitalizing their ideas.
Q5. What are you passionate about besides your work?
Ans. You can either find me cooking or reading books when I'm not in front of my computer.
Q6. How do you always make sure you're improving your skills?
Ans. I spend enough time to keep myself updated on the current design trends. I try to find inspirations from fellow designers through media like Instagram, Dribbble etc.
