Tomorrow Bali will be celebrating Nyepi Day.
Unlike anywhere else on the planet, Balinese culture celebrate their New Year which is the first day of Saka calendar by a silent day. It's ultimately the quietest day of the year, when all of the routine activities of island's inhabitants abide by a set of local rules complete halt. Nobody steps outside of their home premises — no bikes, no working, no internet, no entertaiment, no noises... all just peace and quite in purpose for people to do a self-reflection for a better tomorrow.
From all of us at The Seeds of Life, we are so happy to be part of this very unique culture and tradition. Nyepi day is indeed a beautiful day.
Nature is allowed to take a day off and refresh itself after 364 days of working non-stop. Happy Nyepi, Happy Silent Day Caka Year 1941
Matur Suksme 🙏
P.S. Our restaurant would be closing tomorrow and back to normal operation on 8 March.
