Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.” 2 Corinthians 12:9 (NIV)
If you are like me a very busy mom with a full time career and find yourself struggling to make it all work just know it is ok to be weak.
It is ok to not have it all together. I am a person that wants/needs to have everything in order but as I have gotten older and my kids are more involved it has been a huge struggle to “keep it all together”
Balancing a career, being a good wife, mother, daughter, Aunt, friend, etc is HARD. Let’s not pretend everything is perfect.
Most of the time I think looking from the outside others see you and think wow their life is perfect! NO- no one is perfect, no life is perfect, but some people make the most of what they are given.
The key is to be present- enjoy what’s in front of you- stop focusing on what’s next and take each day as a blessing.
Quit being hard on yourself!
For me this is a big one. I want to be at every event, be the best at my career, have the dinner on the table every night, have the house cleaned and laundry done- but sometimes it is just not possible- and I am realizing that it’s ok!!
Find the joy in the moment. Even though life is hard take the time to see the goodness in the Moment, the person, the relationship.
You will find that enjoying the little things will make you happy 😃
Even though you feel weak at times look at where you have come and what you have accomplished. Celebrate your wins big or small and take the time to enjoy them. Don’t be afraid to ask for help when you need it and let go of the idea that it all has to be perfect!
