Why is the Tipo F131 from a Ferrari 360 our engine of choice?
Well...the 3.6 litre Dino engine is the last Ferrari engine to use a ‘5 valves per cylinder’ configuration which makes it unique.
It was also the engine used in the 360 Challenge Stradale, one of the most capable naturally aspirated Ferrari’s to date.
Did we mention the incredible sound?
It is also the right engine for our 348 chassis as it blends raw power and lightweight materials. It is a huge leap forward from the standard 348 power unit.
In the spirit of the 360 GT race cars from the early 2000’s, we tune the engine to 500bhp.
The engine is married with a 6 speed manual gated transmission which suits its power and torque characteristics perfectly.
