Happy Valentine’s Day to all the lovers out there. To the lovers of men, women, yourself, and money!
We celebrated with a home cooked dinner and frozen Reese’s peanut butter cups, so really it was just a normal weekday night. We both have little to no sentimental value tied to Valentine’s Day and I’m not complaining since it saves us a good chunk of change every year.
I work at a luxury hotel who’s occupancy sky rockets around this time of year and our spa is scheduled back to back to back couple’s massages all-day errday this weekend. A room night + a couple’s massage = $$$ I’m all for celebrating love. We celebrate it everyday with the way we talk, treat, and laugh with each other. Today just isn’t the day we do it over the top. And I honestly don’t think we ever will even when we’re flushed with caaaaahahahaaash (where my Parks and Rec people at?).
I’m curious! How did you celebrate Valentine’s or what do you think about the holiday overall?
