🌈 Lee's Confectionery @ Chinese Garden (Jurong)
🤤 Rating: 4/5
Visited Lee's Confectionery a while back and I'm really missing the coffee there already! Finding this cafe was a little tough since it is pretty much quite a walk from the MRT and situated a little more on the inside but it isn't that far as well! With the help of a GPS, I found it after a 5-7 minutes walk! Besides, anything for good food right?
The interiors of this cafe also wow-ed me a lot! It is a cosy, white minimalistic space! The design was set to be really simple and it looks really clean and aesthetically (minimalistically) pleasing. However, there are very limited seats in this cafe so if you are visiting during their peak period, it might be hard to get a seat. Lucky for me, I went on a weekday (~3pm) so there were plenty of seats available!
Moving on to the food & drinks! I ordered a cup of iced latte! For every cup of coffee you order, it comes with some biscuits on the side. Not only was the coffee aromatic, the pastries on the side tasted amazing too! Finally, the tart! I ordered a Tart ($8) which consisted of lime and almond. The shell of the tart was crispy and really blended well with the lime and almond flavor of the tart. All the desserts were handmade when ordered so you can enjoy a fresh piece of the dessert instead of having it kept in a fridge for way too long!
Overall, I really enjoyed the food and coffee here and would definitely return to try other desserts!
