Transformation Tuesday: Two graduations, 4 years and 4 stone apart.
In my daughter’s grad photo, I was 10 days into my weight loss journey during which I lost 3 stone before falling off the wagon and over the course of the next 3 years I put it all and more back on. The floral dress and pink jacket that I was wearing was sent to the charity shop on Saturday (along with just about everything else in my wardrobe). It was falling off of me.
In my son’s grad photo, I’m almost a year into my last ever weight loss journey, still just as determined to succeed as I was on day 1, if not even more so. The navy dress I’m wearing was bought for a wedding in 2003 and has hung in the wardrobe ever since, waiting for the day I’d be able to zip it up again!
The only difference between my two journeys is that this time, I set my end goal at the very start and ignored the interim ones like Club 10. Yes, it’s great to reach each half stone award but they’re not my goal, they’re just stepping stones on my path.
Onwards! To victory!
