2 Commandments for Sustainable Weight Loss.
If your goal is to lose weight, it is going to take some time to get to your goal. This means you have to have a sustainable plan to keep you going long term.
No matter what your plan is, there are two commandments that you need to be following to have long term sustainable weight loss success.
1: Burn More Than You Eat - You need to be in a caloric deficit to make weight loss progress. This means eating less than you are burning every day and increasing your calories burned with your workouts. It does not matter what diet or workout program you are using if you are not burning more than you eat; it is going to be hard to make progress.
2: Don't Be Miserable - Your nutrition and workout program cannot make you feel physical and/or mentally miserable. If your program makes you feel like shit, it is going to be challenging to continue long term. If you are excited, motivated, and enjoy your program, you are going to be more likely to stick with it long term.
Your program should empower you not to defeat you. These commandments are the foundations for every sustainable weight loss program. If your program does not check these two boxes, it might be time to find a new program.
