Just follow these simple steps for making your pull day:

I honestly think this minor set back is now making me better. Focusing on so many things that I should have been doing before. It’s been a minute since I had over 500 on my back and moving it from a dead stop is way harder than it looks. This SS yoke bar and the cambered bar have been my saving. Brick by brick I’m still building a back without any heavy rowing, pulling, or deadlifts. Banded SSB dead squats for 10 singles last night.

A couple things I like to ✔️ off when making a plan, could be useful for anyone getting started in the gym/getting in shape for a holiday or whatever🤷🏻‍♀️
In no particular order
1.Training: Nothing surprising here. Main things to look for in a program are •That you Enjoy it: If you don’t enjoy the process, it won’t be a process because you won’t stick to it. Plain and simple.
•Tailored to your ability: Gather the right information and use it to ensure you are being challenged enough to continuously make progress and also ensure you have enough time to recover between sessions. Identify weak points/strengths and program accordingly.
2.Nutrition: At the end of the day it boils down to energy in vs energy out. Eat what you enjoy and enjoy what you eat🙌🏻
Heavy restrictions reap little reward as they usually lead to poor consistency. Find a balance and eat like an adult.
3.Sleep: Far more important than a lot of us would think influencing stress, energy levels, mood, weight...the list goes on. 7-9 hours minimum and naps are strongly encouraged😴
4.The last and potentially most important point is to identify any previous or potential roadblocks. Things that have held you back in the past, issues that may have come up more recently wether physical or mental.
Plan ahead, find a way to get passed or at the very least around them, solve the problem before you get to the point where it will be a problem and the process will flow a lot smoother👌🏻

Currently looking into entering a competition earlier than expected because of the progress I have achieved in 6 weeks. Squat is at 105kg bench press is at 60kg and deadlift is at 120 kg. These numbers will hopefully be my starting numbers for a competition by the time I’m finished with a program written by @jcpt_sc.

Its 2 sets of 10 reps of each exercise.  It activates the muscles of the upper back (Rear delta, Rhomboids, Traps). These muscles play an important part in the stabilisation of many movements. 
As human beings we are very anterior dominant. Which means the muscles on the front are often much stronger than the ones on the back. 
By using these exercises in your warm up, you will start to address this muscle imbalance, if it is coupled with an appropriate exercise program.

This exercise is very similar to 21’s for Biceps Curls. The reason why it’s called 21’s is you perform 7 reps for the bottom half of the moment, 7 reps for the top half of movement and 7 reps for full range of motion = 21 reps.

Adopt the same notion and just change the muscle group to chest. 7 bottom half reps, 7 top half reps and 7 full range of motion.

This is a great finishers to your chest workout to help burn out the chest and recruit all the lasting muscle fibres!

3 Sets of 21 Reps and your chest will be on fire!! 🔥 ~
