I love making my sw friendly recipes and don’t plan on stopping any time soon. However, I have really noticed some old habits creeping back in such as binge eating and then ‘fasting’ around weigh in. Getting obsessed with the scales again, sometimes multiple times a day. As well as that, I’m eating at times of day that I don’t need to or when I don’t feel hungry just ‘because’ I feel I should.
I’m going to take a bit of time off from weighing in excessively over the next few weeks and see how I go with a more mindful eating approach. How?
I’m going to focus on my eating. Yep, you read that right! Rocket science, hey! 🚀
If I’m eating, I won’t be at my laptop, watching TV or anything else. I’ll just be eating and stopping when I feel full. I’ll eat when I’m actually hungry, not when I just want to. Tummy rumbles here we come - I’m waiting for ya! 🤰
I’m not giving up on slimming world, as my food will still be sw friendly through and through. It’s what I’m used to and what I like, after all!
However, it’s time to listen to my body and what it needs. I think the two can go beautifully hand in hand but let’s see how I go. I will report back 🙌👏👍
