Do Hard Things, Easy Life

In regards to training, doing the hard things are often what lead to an easier life. .
Lifting heavy things. Carrying heavy things. Doing push-ups, pull-ups, get ups..You might struggle with one, two, or all of these movements. (I know I do😊)
But I still do them because I know my daily life (aka carrying kids/groceries, throwing my kids in the air, crawling around with my kids, etc) will be easier. .
So do something that is hard. Do something in the gym you don’t like to do. Make yourself a little better. Make your life a little easier. .

Technically this is a Mt. Washington specific workout, but I’d say it’ll serve me alright at #georgiadeathrace -6 x 5 min at 12% and 10:00/mile (MWRR race pace) with
-2 minutes recovery at 12:00 pace.
Followed up with some sandbag lunges and split squats! #lovethepain

I was just scrolling through my camera roll and came across this picture from 2015! At the time, it was the best shape I had ever been in. That is in terms of physique that is. I was also working in a factory, not getting adequate sleep, and not tracking my nutrition. .
.
Why do I share this? To show the difference that 4 years can make. Was I 100% consistent in those 4 years? No! But, the last year and a half has been balls to the wall in terms of training and then the last 8 months nutrition has been on point. I now see what I’m capable of and there is no stopping it. Formulate a plan and execute! I hope this message reaches someone who needs it!
