Vandaag interval loop training met westfit in het mooie natuur domein. Een rondje wedstrijd tempo dan 200m rust en weer rondje wedstrijd tempo. In totaal toch mooie 9,6km aan mooi gemiddeld tempo. Wedstrijdjes komen dichter en start 7 juni hier in Turnhout op de stadsparkfeestenloop start 20u!

So I took the plunge and enrolled on a Level 3 Diploma in Fitness Instructing and Personal Training!! I’m at the gym most days anyway and it’s something I’ve thought about for a long time so I thought why not turn my passion into a 2nd income! 
Soooo excited!! Soon I will get to do what I love doing every day whilst helping others achieve their own goals 😍

It took me a while (months) to get out of my comfort zone of doing hip thrusts on the Smith Machine to doing them with the Barbell! I always question my capabilities where my lower back is concerned and having had 2 surgeries has made me super cautious! 
It's never too late to improve or learn something new! •

Slow Down, Unload, and Practice >> I’m working on my Overhead Squat and want to get back to being able to do a decent KB Single Arm OH Squat like I could before I jacked up my shoulder and arm.

I really have to slow down and focus. When I remember to grip the stick, I create tension and I’m better (1st two OH Squats). As soon as I thought about my hip sequencing, I forgot about creating stiffness in my spine and grip, and it felt like my squat got worse (last OH Squat). I still have freaky mobility in my shoulders from swimming, but I’m trying to manage that and my spine together, or I’ll never be able to load it. My KB OH Farmers Carries have been getting better and my KB Windmill, so I hope I’m ready soon for a decent S-A Squat. 💪

Im not longer testing my strength and training at low rep ranges, because I notice my weak points and Form breakdown every time more and more, I'll try to build up my weak points and counting lifting heavy weights when I have a better foundation.

Okay here it goes... (no I won’t be posting a review every day because I’m in the middle of my weight loss journey). I was actually a little hesitant about this one, because I HATE peanut butter and I was afraid it would taste like that🙈 (SNS). That’s why I tried this one first 😋. I’m pleasantly surprised, the taste of peanuts is not overpowering, although I would’ve liked a but more tiny pieces of peanut. I didn’t taste the chocolate part that much but the caramel swirls are absolutely fantastic 😋😋. The ice cream itself is nice and creamy and is a 7/10 as in “easy spoonable” and yes I left it 15 minutes out of the refrigerator before consuming. Overall quite satisfied and I will give this one a 7,5/10 rating! Okay here it goes... (no I won’t be posting a review every day because I’m in the middle of my weight loss journey). I was actually a little hesitant about this one, because I HATE peanut butter and I was afraid it would taste like that🙈 (SNS). That’s why I tried this one first 😋. I’m pleasantly surprised, the taste of peanuts is not overpowering, although I would’ve liked a but more tiny pieces of peanut. I didn’t taste the chocolate part that much but the caramel swirls are absolutely fantastic 😋😋. The ice cream itself is nice and creamy and is a 7/10 as in “easy spoonable” and yes I left it 15 minutes out of the refrigerator before consuming. Overall quite satisfied and I will give this one a 7,5/10 rating!
