》Not all girls are made of sugar and spice and everything nice. Some girls are made of a d v e n t u r e, fine beer, brains, and no fear 🧡 Here's to a great week ahead ! 《|💃| #medellin #pueblitopaisa #tlpicks
It has been a week and I have been looking over my pictures and video recordings wishing I was still there.
When I got back from Aegean Coast the very next day (not even 24 hours) I got into a car crash and got a parking ticket right afterwards, thankfully no one was hurt. After I was like woosah so tired and annoyed. I got home and then watched a movie then bed. The next day I went straight into work mode and this week has been non stop.
On a brighter note I had a chance in the middle of the week to meet new faces this week bbtravelmeetup.
Although I still have somewhat the travelling blues I have taken these negative withdrawals and have put them into good use. (A week later) 😂 Now to plan and book my next trip.
Do you experience withdrawals when you’re back home from your travels and what do you do to get out of this funk?
Mine has been what seems weeks of appreciation and I’m forcing it to continue.
I am thankful that I have the opportunity to create. Happy with the progress that I have made and appreciating all who is in my life and all that I have.
Sometimes we can forget what we’ve achieved and feel we have not done enough or maybe thinking that you’re not doing so well. Take a breather and don’t be so hard on yourself, you are doing better than you think! 😉
Travelling sometimes can throw your body in a funk to be out of sync and cause your body to shut down on you.
When you’re moving from place to place it’s difficult to maintain a routine: eating regularly, exercise, stay hydrated, or even sleep enough to give our body the rest it needs. Many of us slack off, I for one am guilty of this at times.
So remember to be nice to your body. Get enough sleep, take your time, have your adventures, eat well and exercise if you are unable to, you can walk and wander 😉 and stay hydrated.
Side note: there is no harm in pampering yourself whilst travelling too ☺
Have you been ill abroad? What did you do to get better?
