/ Honestly, I believe envy is so so toxic. I mean, there's a difference between a healthy competition and hating on someone because they have something you don't. I've battled with envy on a lot of occasions. Sometimes it was a classmate scoring higher than me or seeing someone prettier or someone else getting all the attention. There are three things that have helped me get over it. First, we are all unique and capable. Including me. I focused more on self-love, being grateful for the things I have and the times I made myseld & others proud. Second, I try my best to keep improving. Progress is important. Instead of envying, try to better your skills.
Third and a very important thing, be happy for others. We all go through struggles. Yes, even the most successful and rich. Empathize and genuinely be glad for them. They worked for it and they deserve it.
