What’s a respect toward candidates in a part of recruitment process called JOB post? Their is so much power in few words that describes the job itself, specific tasks, team and organization. You can make people feel valuable or you can completely disregard their needs and feelings. The simple thing to use is the power of words.
Avoid dominating words such as “we expect for candidates to have...” People who are applying know that every job comes with expectations. Use “we value”, “we praise”, “we need” and give people a chance to explore how they fit in. If you can connect with people on a human level you will get trust and respect in return.
And, don’t make it too short. Yes, we are busy and the world is fast. But, just a few more minutes that you put in writing a great job post CAN and WILL influence many people. Don’t you wanna be known by: “Well, I saw that job post and it immediately sparked my interest”. For how many of you, the breaking point for applying to a JoB post is an actual advert?
