HOW TO SHOP FOR PACKAGED FOODS 🍫 you guys know I‘m pro real food 4 LIFE 🌱 I talk about it daily and truly believe that food from the earth with 1 ingredient is what we should be putting in our bodies the majority of the time.. but I’m also pro balance and a realist and just like everyone else on the planet.. yo girl is BUSY AF.. so I know that sometimes making everything from scratch isn’t an option and there are a ton of things that we realistically can’t make from scratch ourselves because we’ll let’s be honest we don’t always have the time or the patience - patience is not my strong suit and I live for a good short cut when it comes to some things so I’m totally on board with finding healthier alternatives to packaged foods to make life a lil bit easier!
what I look for when buying anything packaged is..

🖤 ingredients that you can pronounce
🖤 ingredients you recognize and know what they are
🖤 avoid artificial colors or flavors

🖤 try to avoid any gums, fillers, etc in plant based milk and dairy
🖤 low in sugar think less than 10g per serving
🖤 low in sodium
🖤 look for organic, raw, natural on the label and then read the ingredients to make sure
🖤 look for protein bars with low sugar, high fat, protein and fiber content
🖤 look for bread and pasta made with sprouted grains, quinoa, millet, etc!
🖤 look for crackers made with whole NON GMO grains
🖤 look for chips cooked in avocado oil, organic chocolate and treats with low sugar
🖤look for raw, unsalted nuts and seeds and nut/seed butters as well
