This is what cutting out the crap and eating to a calorie deficit does to you! I do calorie counting alongside SW (I don’t trust my appetite to not overindulge, there’s a reason why I’m obese!!). I stick to between 1,500 and 2,000 calories a day, depending on my activity level that day.
Breakfast is a double portion protein shake (I can’t stomach solid food in the mornings since having my gallbladder removed in 2010). Snack time happens at around 11.30 and is usually a couple of Alpen Light bars and an apple.
Lunch is generally egg and cheese based, unless I’m not home. In which case, it’s whatever healthy options I can find/budget for. My go to choices at home are cheese and veggie omelette, or the same but scrambled.
Afternoon snack often involves popcorn or a Fibre One bar, strawberries, grapes, and banana.
Dinner is meat and veggies - all fresh and homemade. Except sausages, because who has time to make those?! 😂
I’m fairly partial to a late night snack too. Sometimes it’s quark and fruit, often an Options hot chocolate with squirty cream and mini marshmallows, and sometimes it’s straight up chocolate. Dark is my favourite, always has been. Only now I have four squares instead of the whole block!
➡️Bottom line... Eat less than you burn, but enjoy your food!⬅️ 💛
