Give this hip to overhead pallof press a try next time you’re in the gym.
Start with a band anchored on a post in a half kneeling position with the far leg from the post out front...
With the hand closest to the post grip the band and cap the grip with the far hand...
Brace. Roll the shoulder blades down and back centering the hands in line with the pubic bone and bringing the band into tension. Engage the abdomen and obliques and squeeze the glutes with the toes of the back leg tucked under.
With the arms as straight as possible and the chest puffed out reach from hip to overhead keeping the band in line with the center of the body the whole time.
