Tar med mig träningskläderna in på jobbet, blir svinkalla i bilen. Jobbar hektiskt hela dagen, allt går i ett, tittar på klockan och det att jag måste åka nu om jag ska hinna leda pass. Slänger ner grejer i väskan, låser och går. Halvvägs till bilen inser jag att jag glömt träkingskläderna inne på jobbet😒Vänder och ska blippa in mig och jag har NOLL koll på min kod för att komma in. NOLL koll, och har använt taggen i snart 3 år. Provade alla möjliga kombinationer men fick erkänna mig besegrad... Det är förklaringen till dagens snygga dansoutfit😎✌

Workout Motivation for 2019

Set goals not New Year's resolutions that we never seem to keep, or unrealistic goals. Set a daily goal like, I’m going to drink four glasses of water today, or  I’m going to order a burger but instead of fries I'll have a salad. At the end of the day you accomplished your goal. It may not seem huge but you did it! Be proud of that and make positive changes daily to a better YOU!

My other suggestion is to have fun with FITNESS you should enjoy your journey! Be happy when you walk into the gym, and think positive when you’re going for a walk or run. This mental barrier we all struggle with at times will get better if you believe and enjoy the process.

Workout Motivation for 2019

Set goals not New Year's resolutions that we never seem to keep, or unrealistic goals. Set a daily goal like, I’m going to drink four glasses of water today, or I’m going to order a burger but instead of fries I'll have a salad. At the end of the day you accomplished your goal. It may not seem huge but you did it! Be proud of that and make positive changes daily to a better YOU!

My other suggestion is to have fun with FITNESS you should enjoy your journey! Be happy when you walk into the gym, and think positive when you’re going for a walk or run. This mental barrier we all struggle with at times will get better if you believe and enjoy the process.

In honour of hump day I thought I’d share a few of today’s glute workouts - reverse leg raises - weighted squats -fire hydrants
All 3x 15 reps + 2x 15 reps with a resistance band
I did a few more exercises but just felt a tad weird filming them all in the gym....is that just me? 🤷🏾‍♀️ Also, super open to any feedback/tips on form and technique...I’m deffo not a pro...just trying my best not to become the size of a house 🐷 .

Last weekends session I managed to Romanian Deadlift 130kg for 4 sets of 5 reps.⁣

I have my sights on building up to 160kg and with it will come hamstring and glute (butt) growth...⁣

And to me more importantly that feeling that I’m getting stronger and more athletic...⁣
⁣
But it may take me 6 months + to achieve this...⁣
⁣
There’s no 6-8 week fix for this...it takes as long as it takes.⁣
⁣
The sooner we realise and accept that it takes work...⁣
⁣
Months, Years...⁣
⁣
The sooner we can settle in and start to learn to enjoy the process of learning, growing and getting the results we really want. 😉💪🏼

✅ Placer ses séances dans la semaine c'est une question de priorité. Si on se fixe des objectifs d'entrainement, ça aide à se motiver !

✅ On prépare son sac la veille pour venir le matin avant d'aller bosser

✅ On va direct à la salle apres le travail, sans repasser chez soi sinon on ne résiste pas à l'appel du canapé !

FOCUS ON THE COMPOUNDS⠀

A compound movement is an exercise that requires the movement of at least 2 joints (for ex. shoulders & elbows) and consequently works multiple muscle groups at the same time.⠀

80% of your time in the gym should be spent on these compounds movements and getting stronger in them if you want to see a difference in your physique. The other 20% can be spent on isolation exercises.⠀

There are 6 types of compound movements, aka the BIG 6:⠀

👉 Horizontal push (ex. bench press)⠀
👉 Vertical push (ex. shoulder press)⠀
👉 Horizontal pull (ex. bent over row)⠀
👉 Vertical pull (ex. pull up)⠀
👉 Lower body push (ex. squat)⠀
👉 Lowerd body pull (ex. deadlift). ⠀

If you're not doing all of these, your are leaving a lot of fat loss and gains on the table.⠀

For the fastest possible progress, you should be doing each of them twice a week as part of a proper workout program.⠀

👉 Vertical push (ex. shoulder press)⠀
👉 Horizontal pull (ex. bent over row)⠀
👉 Vertical pull (ex. pull up)⠀
👉 Lower body push (ex. squat)⠀
👉 Lowerd body pull (ex. deadlift). ⠀
