Remember that it is possible for you to do whatever you want in life. You will have to make sacrifices, you will have to be in pain, you will have to dig deeper within yourself to find the strength. Many people give up because this is so hard for them. I was one of them. Until this day I looked at this picture almost three years ago and realized I was more. I decided to change my life and became the person in the next picture. I am so fucking proud of her for the first time in my life. My first reaction was "look how none of your back muscles are poppin', 2nd reaction was "that's ok, look at the progress and just wait 6 more months." 😁💪🏽❤ Last time I was in Vegas I slept while my bestie worked out.  This time I caught a Lyft to #burnbootcamp  for a workout to start my day.

I don't personally believe comparison is the problem, Wishing is..... Sometimes it becomes  the formula for #hatorade  Wishing you could be someone else, wishing you could have someone's life,  wishing you could do more, be more, have more. 
Life is about having hope, and to have hope you have to do more than wish.  If we are truly comparing, we are usually making an assessment. Envy, or wishing we were someone else, or had someone else's circumstances is different. 
Wishing and dreaming are fleeting happy thoughts. Vision and hope are intentional and require investment. Where there is wishing, there is negativity at the end.  No true results. . Where there is hope, there is vision for the future.  Go do, invest, and have vision.

You Burn More Calories After Training When You Do Resistance Training!

This is also known as EPOC, Excess Post-exercise Oxygen Consumption. It’s the amount of oxygen your body needs to return to its normal, resting metabolic state.

Weight training is superior to cardio when it comes to increasing EPOC (1). Meaning if you want to burn a greater amount of calories during the week, it’s ideal to be spending the majority of your training time resistance training.

For weight training, afterburn appears to increase with exercise intensity (2), but the actual gains measured vary widely, the range is from 6 to 800 calories. There are a ton of benefits to weight training, so whatever afterburn effect you get from it, is like the cherry on top.

However, this is why I like to prioritise weight training first and only use cardio strategically when trying to lose fat. Not only will weight training burn more total calories, it will also help preserve your muscle tissue while you are burning fat.

At the end of the day, it’s much more efficient to create a deficit through your calories than it is to be trying to burn extra calories from exercise. If your goal right now is to lose fat, start by moving more in the ways you enjoy, and being more mindful of what you’re eating. It’s easier to say no to a piece of cake than it is to run on the treadmill for 30 mins. To get results you need discipline and knowledge.

Turkey burgers!!!! Dish inspired by @fitmencook

3/4 lb of ground turkey
1/2 cup of Greek olives
1 cup of spinach
1 roasted jalapeños 
2 tbsp of @flavorgod garlic lovers seasoning

Who said healthy food was boring with this dish inspired by @fitman cook you’re definitely doing a good job staying within your eating regimen with out any deviation at all! 
Don’t make eating healthy a chore but adopt it as apart of your lifestyle! Coming from where I came from I always thought that healthy food was bland and boring. With a little searching I found tons of recipes that will surely keep things interesting in the kitchen! 
Without the proper fuel our days would go down the drain! Treat your body right and your body would treat you right!
