High buns, get things done 🤟🏻 Today I reminded myself of why I started. I didn’t start this journey because I hated my body, but the opposite — because I LOVE it. Love it enough to stop treating it like shit. To stop abusing it with unkindness, both in the way I spoke to it and in the way I treated it. To stop always looking in the mirror and seeing what’s missing, rather than what’s there. To stop using exercise as a punishment, rather than a pleasure — swapping the skinny teas for squats, the rules for tools. And to stop wishing it smaller, and to start wishing it stronger. Because strength helps you handle whatever the F life throws at you. Strength helps you fight when the world bites back. But most of all, strength makes you feel empowered. Empowered enough to embrace that healthy & happy looks different on everyBODY — and accepting that this is what it looks like on me. ✨👋🏻

Just cuz I haven’t posted doesn’t mean I’m not working 😉 Remember this is isn’t a sprint (even though I did 13 (back and forth=1) on a damn hill yesterday.... but I digress lol. This journey is no sprint. It’s truly a marathon... and the mental journey is even more challenging than the physical. 
So many days I have to talk myself out of the bad habits that taste so good. Is it worth it after all the hard work you put in at the gym? You already had one cheat treat the other day, like did you need that extra piece of chocolate? You know if you don’t mea prep, you’re gonna not gonna meet you goal, right? 
So just understand that this healthy lifestyle isn’t for the faint of heart. You will be challenged every step of the way... but no matter how many times you fall. My current split goes something like disss...
🌟I hit legs hard and heavy twice a week! One time focusing on deadlifts, rdls& the booty second time focusing on squats, lunges and side bum💓💓 plus I always do leg press bc you already know it’s my favvv!!

🌟I hit upper body all muscle groups with one or two exercise once a week🤘🏼
.
🌟I hit one all cardio day lately I’ve been doing hikes at least 6miles👏🏼💃🏽
. 🌟Last I hit a full body day focusing on core, sprints and shoulders 😛

🌟&than I rest 1-2 days and repeat :))

BICEPS SUPERSET 🔥

Here you have one of my all time favorite supersets for the biceps that hits both, the long head and the short head. Pretty simple, pretty basic, but pretty effective, just how I like it 😏

✳️ Alternating db curls 12 reps
✳️ Db hammer curls 10 reps
3 sets with 60 secs rest in between sets 👌🏻 for a massive pump, go lighter in weight, increase the rep range to 20 on the alternating curls, and once you are done with the super set, add 5 partial reps of Hammer curls. Way to rip your biceps off the bone 😈
