I was in and out of the hospital again all day today but kept my food on track finally 😅 (meals posted backwards)
Today’s food is as follows: * Breakfast- proffee and a smart cake
* Lunch - cauliflower rice with coconut curry chicken * Snacks- mocha built bar and thinkables (not pictured)
* Dinner - air fried shake n bake spicy chicken tenders, celery sticks, and salad with Gorgonzola along with 6tbsp bolthouse yogurt ranch dressing (used for salad, tenders, and celery)

Let's make one thing clear. You don't need supplements in order to get in shape. You don't Need to drink protein shakes in order to get in shape. personally, I think what's most important is making sure that you have a solid nutrition plan and a good workout regiment. Those are the fundamentals for getting in shape. Supplements are exactly what they sound like supplements are there to supple-ment your already nutrition. If you listen to my podcast you know that I'm not a big believer in most kinds of supplements. In fact I only recommend a handful of them and one of them is a good whey protein. I drink whey protein after my workouts because it helps with fueling my muscles. But you could just as easily eat a piece of chicken or something like that. Although I will say the chances are you aren't very hungry after working out. So, that's why drinking a great protein shake that's easily digestible works so well. And the protein in that protein shake is easily absorbed into your body which then interns uses it to build muscle. If you're interested I would go check out @ascent_protein their stuff is really clean and good quality. I strongly recommend them.

About this exercise:
Bird dogs are a great way to stimulate the core and work on balance. To do this exercise start on all 4's lift opposite limbs as high as you can up towards the ceiling, while keeping the limbs as straight as possible. Return to the star posistion slowly and under control! You should feel this in the lower back, glutes and shoulders. This helps engage our back's stabilization system that actually works accross the back like an X!

Making up my last week go BBR with the 5 workouts I had missed during the last 2 months. Going on vacation next week and im stressing about not working out for a week 😖

a lil’ reminder for ya Tuesday- if you want it bad enough, you’ll work your ass off to get it! .

I didn’t get home till after 10:30pm last night. I was tired from working 8-5 & grinding out chest ‘n back in the gym 💪🏼 BUT... I didn’t have any lunches prepped for work #oops 🙃 lets be real, I coulda just went to bed & grabbed some takeout at work 😹 But, I CHOSE to not let this affect the goals that I’m striving for.
. 
I stayed up and put these veggies together (which only took 30ish min) as a side for some protein I already had. Should I have already had stuff prepped for my week? Yea, probably 🤷🏻‍♀️ but, not every weekend can be a meal prep weekend (at least for me) when you’re balancing all of the fun aspects of life. .
so my point is- don’t be so rigid in your workout schedule/meal prep that you’re forgetting to enjoy little moments 🥰.

Just make the time & don’t let excuses hold you back! YOU GOT THIS. And I’m right here, cheering you on 💪🏼💯👏🏼
